I got Todoist because my notes were everywhere, fridge, phone, random pockets, just chaos. The interface felt like a lot at first with all the projects and labels, but after a couple of days it started to click. Now I just dump everything in there, bills, groceries, workouts, and checking tasks off feels surprisingly satisfying. I wish habit tracking was a bit simpler or maybe I just haven't figured it out yet, but syncing is fast and I don't lose anything anymore. Right now it's basically the only thing keeping my life from falling apart, and honestly, it works.

This app absolutely keeps my life on track. I use it for all of my personal tasks, including daily, weekly, monthly and yearly. I use the projects for my ongoing grocery list, house projects, and travel packing lists. It’s so good!

Todoist is hands-down the most useful organizational tool in my office! It’s simple, syncs flawlessly, and it just works. I’ve used it now for over 4 years. Our team at work lives by it. I cannot recommend it enough! Update: now used for about 8 years and my opinion hasn’t changed!
  • Unless you’re ready to pay, don’t buy it.

I’m a software engineer that has used this app since undergrad. No nonsense to the point todo app. I’ve made so many of these to learn new programming languages that I can’t even count them all. Still come back to ol trusty.

Might be a nice app, who knows. It won’t let me in. It insists that my Apple ID token is invalid (it’s not) and won’t let me create a new account with email because it says every password is “too easy to guess” and not secure. I tried everything from long nonsense phrases to password manager-created randomized sets of letters and numbers… It wouldn’t accept anything. Stupid.
