  • O cale rapida de a învață o limba straina

Foarte util și atractiv ca și modalitate in învățarea unei limbi străine.
  • Amazing app, but no ASL

    By Sir_Shark
The app is really good, and I’m surprised it free! It helped me out a lot when I was learning Spanish in school. However I originally got it so see if I could learn American Sign Language, I’m let down that you can but I guess it makes sense. Other than that I was thoroughly pleased. You could make it a little be easier to not lose hearts in the very beginning however.
  • Pretty Good

Currently working on improving my Arabic. The course is good but I think it should be longer and focus on more than just alphabet. Once I master this language I’ll be moving onto Spanish
  • If Hebrew is improved, 5 stars

    By Abraham Rico
I wanted to learn Hebrew but I was disappointed in the way it’s taught here. It’s almost as if we’re supposed to already have a familiarity with the aleph bet or with Hebrew words already because I spent time to learn the aleph bet and the niqqud but all of the Hebrew words don’t use it on a regular basis and that can only be applied to people that know words in Hebrew. Idk it’s confusing to a beginner and i wish there was a clearer way of learning it on Duolingo but that’s my only bummer that I’ve seen so far other than that I’m enjoying it!
  • Impossible to give it a bad review

I’ve been using Duolingo for bout a year now to learn Spanish. I started as a beginner & I’m intermediate now. I’m only halfway through the app & I can understand Spanish movies without subtitles now.... which is wild. The thing about this app is *some* days it feels like you aren’t learning much, then you get to the end of a checkpoint and realize just how far you’ve come. Oh, and you don’t have to pay for anything (unless you want to). I’m SUCH a huge fan.
  • Best app for learning languages

    Recommended to everyone.
  • Great App Overall

    By wtfrufkmrn
Duolingo is a good app if you want to learn a new language. The new features are very helpful and interactive. The only issue I have is they added a new feature where instead of typing and translating the sentence you can just speak it, which is great for so many reasons, plus, you can better retain what you’re learning by saying it out loud. It saves time and effort, BUT, the voice recognition is very poor. I’ve had numerous instances where I’ll speak to translate and it will say something no where near what I said, even if I speak it in English. Or it will just change my translation from what I originally had said right when press submit and I end up getting the question wrong. It’s really annoying and most times I just find it easier to type just to keep my lives which is counterproductive because then there would be no use for the microphone. It’s overall a great app but that one thing needs to be fixed in my opinion.
