    Update: even after probing Apple never denied my refund as did Blinkist deflecting with their client template replies, to contact Apple. It’s total LiES. Apple emailed me showing me they tried to request the refund twice and Blinkist said no immediately same day with in the time of them taking 139.99 dollars with no consent !! I am beyond angry. How I have been blamed shifted to ask Apple when a free trial charges me $139.99 yr and I had NEVER used this or even knew what it was!!! Blinkist referred me to Apple and Apple said Blinkist refused the refund! Yet all my support emails from Blinkist saying it’s an Apple thing. And then they send me some basic email with instructions to cancel -instructions????! Like I don’t know how to do that!? I refuse to accept their lies and proved it by apples emails stating it’s BLINKIST that denied the refund the same hour the same day!! I have proof and can show the email and the proof! Don’t bother people this app is a fraud!!!

    I admit I was skeptical of Blinkist at first but after flirting with the free version for a while, I finally subscribed and now I’m hooked. Once I had access to the Blinkist library of content, I felt like a kid in a candy store. I absolutely love studying the summaries of so many interesting and informative books. The intellectual stimulation and learning experience throughout my busy days has truly enhanced my routine.

    This app says claims to be a summary service, but is really a much-less valuable, and EXPENSIVE targeted marketing service. It’s NOT worth the subscription cost. This app *seemed* like a good idea when I signed up. The Pitch is “get summaries of the key elements of topics you are interested in, curated for your daily reading. We’ll help you read more, and broaden your knowledge in only a few minutes a day!” However, after a year of using the App, I’ve found that the “summaries” mostly cover only a few bullet points from the book, then quickly turn into a commercial for the full book. That means the App is effectively a feed of commercials, and I’m paying $149+ a year to be _marketed to_. I can achieve the same result for free by following author’s blogs and Reddit reviews and Book Lists, and I can then spend that same money on the few full-length books I actually want to consume. I read avidly, and deeply in topics I am interested in. This App is not worth my time, not accurate enough in its recommendations to justify the sub cost, and not something I need to waste time and money on.

    My first mistake was tapping on an ad for this app. It sounds amazing, and maybe it is, but I was given two subscription options without a free trial. These options were about $2/week and cancel at any time. Sounded like a deal so I went with the lower price of the two. My bank flagged it as fraud because they charged the FULL YEAR UP FRONT. Nowhere on the subscription options did it say this was the deal. I went to cancel the subscription but they keep the money and allow you to access the account for the remainder of your subscription year. NO. This is bad business and I am incredibly disappointed. I’d rather slow down my day and read the full book.

    I bought the premium plan and have no access to anything on this app. Everything by is locked. It’s not at all user friendly and I don’t have any issues navigating other apps. I won’t be renewing.

    Every time I browse for something, it told me that I could not unlock it. I subscribed for a pretty substantial amount of money for three months. And it gave me nothing that I could actually read. Absolutely everything I clicked on,even suggested titles, told me that it was not available to me. So what is the point? Show me things that are included in my subscription or don’t charge me for it. I want my money back.

    It’s more or less impossible, reaching them or deleting your credit card so block your credit card from charges from this service. they charged me without notifying me, and after I had canceled my membership and turned off auto renewal.
