Lots of ships in the app, sure. But the age of the ping is often super old, I’m talking 12 hours to 4-5 days. What gives? Use another app for more timely maps.

The app shows you where ships are in real time. You can see exactly where your cruise ship is enroute to its next destination.

There forced registration makes the app not useable . Avoid this at all costs there are much better options.

If you’re a geek like me, you’ll probably enjoy this app. Fun to watch the traffic and accurate so far as I can tell.

It’s easy and fun to see a boat from the beach and then be able to identify details about it and where it’s going. The only real negative is that they won’t tell you where it is coming from unless you pay. But on the positive side, it is a fairly inexpensive sub subscription.

Ever since the apple September updates it’s really hard to close out of this app. Happens every year but for some reason they aren’t fixing it this year.

When I was shipping out of Honolulu I could see what ships were arriving and gauge when to go to the union hall and at my moms house on the St Clair River we have thousand footers that dock next door and we can see what their next port is and see what ships will pass the house that day
  • Incredible detail

I live at Lands End and have always enjoyed watching the ships and boats but was never able to get any information on them. Since I have started using the App my pleasure has multiplied 10 fold. The ability to see what is going on and where all the boats are going and coming from is amazing. It’s also rather scary to know how many ships with dangerous cargoes are just off our coast .
