    Been using tinder years but for the last couple of months I’ve been using it daily as a free user. I’ve matched with a couple of women, but I’ve never met a single user in person yet in my 5+ years on the app. I’m comparing this to the 5+ women I’ve met on lower rated apps. Paying to see who likes you is their entire business model. This app has no intention of helping you meet friends. Its single goal is to get you to subscribe, so you can see the 15 swamp hags, or ex drug addicts that have liked you. At this point it feels pointless to even open the app. As a side note, I’m in good shape, have good facial features, I’m healthy, have a job, school, updated photos, I’m taller then average, etc, still can’t meet a single woman.

    Tinder markets itself as a modern, progressive tech product, but behind the glossy UI is something far uglier. The app’s success rests on the labor, creativity, and emotional intelligence of women, while a small circle of male founders and executives took the credit, the power, and the money. It feels deeply unethical to watch a handful of men profit enormously from work they did not truly originate, while sidelining and erasing the women who helped build the foundation of the platform. The imbalance is not subtle, it’s systemic, and it’s gross. What’s most disturbing isn’t just the business behavior, but the hypocrisy. An app that monetizes intimacy, connection, and human vulnerability should be held to a higher moral standard. Instead, Tinder’s origin story reads like a case study in exploitation dressed up as innovation. I deleted the app not because of bad dates, but because supporting a company built on credit-stealing and power imbalance leaves a bad taste. There are plenty of dating apps out there, and I’d rather give my time and data to one that doesn’t reek of entitlement and erasure. Disappointing. Revolting. Unworthy of loyalty.

    When you change your location after paying for passport feature, it just shows you the same people in your location. Scam.

    This app is very buggy. It will ignore your preferences and show you profiles you’ve swiped left on again and again. It will show you long distance profiles despite your settings. The list of bugs goes on. I wasted money on it for the first and last time.

    They take your money, and then for any reason that another customer decides, they ban you without any hesitation. They are still getting away with this but I would be they're doing it to too many people and will receive a class action lawsuit. So, let's be honest here: This is not worth your money. The people on here are often catfish or bots. They're catering to a very small segment of society and stealing money from the majority of us. While they likely have a prepared statement they use to justify the theft of your money, its almost certainly fraud. They are probably using bots to initiate your ban as well. Either way, it needs to be examined by more competent authorities. But who are we kidding? they made it this far so it means they can continue profiting off the women of society. That's all it is.
