    Overall the app is decent. BUT, it use to have the ability, when shopping deals, to move individual warehouse deals to the Shopping List by swiping right (I believe). Somewhere that functionality was lost and it’s much less user friendly because of it. Also, the shopping list could be made much more user friendly by being persistent across devices. Example, I work on my iPad and I’d like to build my shopping list using this device. But, I travel with my iPhone to Costco. Unfortunately I have to build my shopping list on my iPhone if I want it with me at the store.

    As so often is the case, this last app update (Jan 2025) to “fix bugs” actually just introduced a bunch of new ones. It boggles the mind that such an exceptional company cannot find competent folks to make their app (and website) work like it’s from this decade. So frustrating. It’s like they’re competing with the current Apple iOS design team for the Worst Implementation Award. Do better, Costco. ========== Previous review: Hey Costco: I love your company. Why can’t you hire a competent app designer? You do know that Microsoft is right down the road from your HQ, right? Maybe you could stop by and ask them to help you out…🤔 Every time I think Costco is finally getting its app to a reliable level of performance and user friendliness, they release an update that introduces so many bugs as to render it nearly unusable. Onscreen functions that absolutely will not respond when tapped. Onscreen functions that cannot be tapped because they are partly hidden behind other functions. Item pages that fail to fully load. Want to look at an item that’s not currently available for delivery in your geographic region? Too bad, because the app will not let you see the details. Want to use the app to leave a product review? You will be forced to enter your member number EVEN if already signed in to your membership account in the app. WHY??? Oh. And if you leave the app for a moment to retrieve said required member number, the entire review you just spent 10 minutes painstakingly tapping out on your teeny tiny iPhone keyboard will be completely lost when you come back. Why? Why? Why?

    I have beee a member for a solid decade. In general, if they have it at Costco it is likely to be the best deal. They don’t always have things and I sometimes don’t need items in bulk since I’m only shopping for 2 but between Costco and Trader Joe’s that is 95% of my grocery shopping.
