Description

The world’s No. 1 baby app! Understand why your baby cries more at certain times, isn't himself or herself and... what you can do to help. During our research, which began in 1971 with Jane Goodall and the chimpanzees in Tanzania, we discovered that babies are more prone to cry and to be clingy or cranky from time to time. This behavior was shown to be related to a leap in the baby's mental development. More specifically, babies go through 10 mental leaps in the first 20 months of their life. A leap may be tough, but it's a positive thing: it gives your baby the opportunity to learn something new. Use The Wonder Weeks app to: - See when a leap starts and ends thanks to a personalized leap schedule - Be automatically notified when a leap is about to start - Learn to recognize the leaps based on the various signals your baby gives - Discover the new skills your baby develops with each leap - Stimulate your baby's new skills with 77 playtime games - Keep track of your baby's development in your personal diary - Link the app to your partner's app to keep track of your baby's developments together - Share your experiences and ask questions in the forum - Watch fun and interesting videos about parenting - Complete fun polls and find out what other parents think about certain topics - Benefit from a baby monitor with 4G wireless connectivity, including interesting information about sleeping patterns. Our mission is to help parents gain confidence in the face of the greatest leap in life: having a baby. We take a candid look at parenting, shed light on all sides and are there for all parents. We can all help each other and learn from each other. Millions of parents before you have already followed, supported and stimulated the 10 leaps in the mental development of their babies. It's not a coincidence that we have been one of the best-selling baby apps worldwide for many years! Disclaimer: This app has been developed with utmost care. I’ve used it for everyone of my 3 kids and it’s so informative and helpful with why they’re behavior is a certain and what their little minds are thinking and how they’re growing. Love the games you can play that they suggest too. Highly recommend! Worth the money!

You know the feeling of omg am I extra sensitive to this chaos or are the kids going through something? Haha Now you can have an explanation and it’ll help you understand their learning process, be able to connect with them better, and give grace because we’re all learning! I have not been disappointed in this app! I purchased three years ago with our first child. We now have 4 kids, 3 years old and under. Now I am a seasoned mom who expects the leaps but the reminders are phenomenal during this busy season in life. 10/10 would recommend to parents!

The Wonder Weeks has been great for all 3 of my kids. It took a lot of the guessing out when it came to sleep disruptions and clinginess. I have always valued having this tool in my back pocket to be able to best understand and support whatever milestone one of my children was hitting at that moment.

The Wonder Weeks app has been really helpful and understanding my babies development and helping to curb my worries when he’s extra fussy knowing he’s just in a fussy phase and this is to be expected. It also is really helpful with the playtime skills and I like them as a guide in giving me direction and how to help my baby develop his skills.
  • Great app for understanding your baby. Could improve on explanations of activities

This app is great and letting you know the different signs of when a baby is about to reach a new leap. I can understand why my baby is fussy and prepare myself in advance of a leap because that’s when they are growing and developing into their next leap. The only thing is the activities to do with your baby aren’t well explained. I’ve had to reread some of them multiple times to understand where/how it wants me to hold my baby, and even looked up YouTube videos with no help. I’d love this app to be like a workout app where it shows you a demo of what the activity looks like with your baby.
  • Interesting info, but not worth the $

Interesting info that may help alleviate some parental anxiety, but not worth spending money for, especially considering some info is so far from correct that it could actually increase a parent’s anxiety. For example, most of the actions and behaviors that the app says to expect for each “leap” are completely unrealistic and would be incredibly advanced for a child at that age.

Ava alternates between days where she wants to be busy and held, and days where she wants to sleep all day. She is now able to sleep for several hours at night. She “talks” more and practices mimicking noises with us, and can grasp objects for a few minutes. Ava has found her hands and now suckles them!

Great! But keep in mind that every baby is different. My two kids have varied drastically according to this app, and yet they have both been right on track.
