    This app is trash. They sell counterfeit items. They say there is buyer protection but there isn’t. I got ripped off on a fake broken watch and both cases were closed without any comment. I will never buy anything from this garage app. Use another more reputable app like eBay, Poshmark or Mercari. This app is only out to make money. TRASH TRASH TRASH. Buyer beware!!!!

    Love this app and everything about it but it would be really nice if there was an option not to be shown brands that we choose not to. I hate shein and there is a lot of it on the app that i will never buy and it clogs my feed so it would help to be able to exclude it.

    love buying stuff on here. i have bought many things i started to have a problem and would limit my time on the app. but the app is so slow, it is the only app on my phone that acts like i have no wifi or service. genuinely is the slowest app in my phone. please make your app faster. it runs like it has never been updated since the app first came out. please fix.

    Depop allows scammers to get away with posting knock offs, even after reports and proof. I’ve purchased designer wear such as a Fendi hoodie for my daughter, but received a disgustingly horrible fake. I returned it but noticed as soon as the seller got it back, he just relisted it without mentioning it was a fake (again). Depop did nothing when I brought this to their attention. I’ve also brought to their attention other fake items while searching for something specific. They continuously allow those fake items yet even with proof and comparative photos, Depop allows scammers on their site. It’s a huge hit or miss, but I am dealing with getting refunds for several items that were fake recently for Christmas. A much higher concentration around Christmas than any other time of the year.. These specific sellers who post fake items without specifying such, are incredibly ignorant and egocentric. The ones I’ve confronted after they attempted to scam me actually deflected everything, and blamed me for not “just knowing.” I usually get my refundbut it’s still a huge headache and you have to really go out of your way to prove that it’s a fake, which isn’t always easy through pictures, especially when you’re referring to cheap material. Depop definitely needs to step up their game when it comes to security and not prioritizing monetary gains over customers getting scammed

    READ BEFORE USING!!! This app is *VERY SLOW INCOME* as a seller. (TLDR: It will take depop MORE THAN A MONTH just to pay me) After selling my clothes on 12/19/25 and withdrawing my depop balance of $130 (which appeared a couple days after shipping the items) depop reached out to me on 12/30/25 saying they “couldn’t” deposit the withdrawal, with no reason given. Now depop is telling me that i have to wait 8 days *JUST TO CHANGE MY BANK ACCOUNT* (yes, you heard that right) depop has a forced wait time to change bank information, then I will have to wait *AN ADDITIONAL 5 BUSINESS DAYS* for the withdrawal to go through… in summery this means it will take over a month just for depop to pay me… HORRIBLE PROCESS to go through, especially after SPENDING MONEY on shipping, depop boosting fee’s and more extra hideen fee’s included. I submitted a ticket to depop and was told to “WAIT THE 8 DAYS” just so i can change my bank information... Just absolutely ridiculous having to go through this, Depop really hates letting go of the money I made from selling my personal my clothing… *UPDATE* I waited the 8 days till it went to 0 and guess what.. IT STILL WON’T LET ME EDIT MY BANK INFO. It is now saying and i’ll phrase it “You can't update your details right now because you recently updated your connected bank account. For security reasons, you'll need to come back and try again in 0 days.” I’ve waited all day and it still says come back in 0 days. PEOPLE SAVE YOURSELF TIME & STRESS, IT HAS NOW BEEN OVER 20 DAYS SINCE I’VE SOLD MY ITEMS AND YET TO SEE THE PAYOUT. DO NOT USE DEPOP!

    I’ve been using depop for over a year and I’ve made over 300$. It’s pretty easy and self explanatory definitely safe for beginners sellers/internet users BUT the taxing for buying items or even shipping them is CRAZY. I bought a pair of paints for 23 and paid 38$ full. My pants could fit in an envelope I’m small so that’s WILD. I sold an item for 12$ and I only get 7.50 something. ABSOLUTELY ABSURD
