All I play is the music I have purchased. When I play a playlist containing only my purchased music, I get a message saying that Amazon will add similar songs when it shuffles the playlist. It doesn’t add them, but the message always appears. Also I can’t play downloaded purchased music offline. I get a playback error message every time. I have also lost the ability to play one song continuously, or shuffle the entire playlist continuously. I’ve lost the ability to not shuffle and play in the order of the playlist. I have also lost the ability to play music all night. It stops and asks if I’m still listening every couple hours. I am constantly being told that I can’t skip songs. I bought the music. You shouldn’t be able to control shuffling, down loading, skipping, etc. when I have paid for every single song that I play. This is why I canceled my prime membership!!

I just want to listen to stuff I have purchased and downloaded. There are times I am in places with no or little cell reception. It is hard to find what I already own through all the “suggestions”. I have a Pandora account. When I want suggestions that is where I go. When I go to Amazon Music I want to listen the the stuff I have bought.

I listen to amazon music all the time and enjoy it for the most part, but I’m tired of hearing my same songs in the same order over and over and never getting to the other songs I like. Can amazon music start shuffling the songs so it’s not the same songs over and over??? My likes and more is just getting annoying because I never hear the other songs that are so far into the playlist.

My playlist is old enough to go to start second grade. There are enough playtime hours it is easier to measure it in days! There is such a plethora of genres & artists that I think it’s impossible to find the end of Amazon music. 😎
  • This app is just too good!!!

Easy to start a station, but hard to customize, or work from my actual Alexa. I’d rather link pandora. And that’s free.
  • Ap seems designed to continually up sell.

This app seems to be intentionally designed to make it as difficult as possible for you to listen to songs that you want, so they can sell you on the paid version. I have never yet had it play a song I select. It always says playing mixed with … Is there any possible reason to not allow me to play a song I like, even when it is available in the free library, other than to make me upgrade? It’s bad enough that most products are designed with planned obsolescence. It is worse, obscene when software products are intentionally designed to perform badly. But what else should we expect from predatory Amazon?!
