It’s OK when you buy the unlimited plan which I have, but it always glitches and I even have to close out the app and reopen it because it won’t open it kicks me out of the app and randomly stops my music. I would love a design change because it feels very cluttery, but otherwise it’s a an eh app.

This app is the best! I use this to listen to music ALL the time and it works great and I haven’t even tried premium yet which you can get for a greater price!!!

App is good but one major problem. The app will just out of nowhere shut off in the middle of a song on my iPhone. Would be five stars if not for that. On a brand new iPhone at that!

This used to be a pretty good app for Amazon Prime members, but no longer. Amazon has restricted it so severely that it basically amounts to a repeated advertisement for “Amazon Music Unlimited”. It basically won’t play what you choose, it will “play similar music” of their choice. It is also slow and buggy; the UI is jerky and unresponsive, and it crashes from time to time. It also makes my phone warm up and seems to be using excessive amounts of power at times. Since it scrambles your choices, it is useless for classical music (I don’t want to hear a symphony out of order with random other stuff thrown in!). It has no provision to play your own music files (e.g. from Dropbox). I cannot imagine paying extra (an outrageous $12/month) for this; just get Spotify which works better.
  • Always asks if I’m still listening

I wish I could easily find an option to allow this app to play until I stop it. Instead it stops 4-6 songs in asking if I’m “still listening” if you don’t hit it, it stops the music. I use it at my grooming shop and I am not staring at my shop phone to see it pop up. It’s more annoying that it does this!

The app dies after playing a podcast for three minutes. Happens daily.
  • Ads on the Unlimited Plan?

Not sure why I’ve been getting ads on the podcasts I listen to. I literally have the Unlimited Plan….

When I first used the app in 2019, I had no complaints. In the app’s current state, it’s a buggy mess. I opened the app one day and it had completely reset. I lost all my downloads, playlists, etc…the app gets confused if there is more than one version of a song (ex. same song featured on more than one album) and you can’t delete anything. So I have 2 copies of every song. Can I listen to them offline? Sometimes, depends on the app’s mood. Do you want to listen to all of your downloaded music? Yes, you can, but only songs. If you download the whole album instead of each individual song, you have to listen to it separately. Want to search your library for artists, albums and songs? Too bad, it may not be there. That artist you were just listening to, good luck finding them in your library. Your settings don’t save from each time you open the app so you have to constantly change the sound quality. At this point I’d rather cancel my plan and take my chances with Spotify. The busted iOS and an app the developers couldn’t care less about is a terrible combination.
