  • The worst navigation app ever

My company using this app however most of the time it doesn’t take me to the exact address I have to keep driving around to find my pick up / delivery location. If I have a load from California to Denver Colorado it will take me off the I70 to back roads and for more miles too. If I am going to California from Oregon or Washington state it will take me off the I5 to the back roads in north California warning me that there are low bridges or restricted road ( since when interstates are restricted or has lower bridges than 13.6) In Southern California on I210 it takes me off the interstate stating there is a low bridge 01 foot high. I wouldn’t recommend using this app even if it is for free. I would rather use google maps or Apple Maps and watch the road signs
  • not a horrible app. needs improvements.

it’s routing is good. Rv friendly. i like the route options it has. more than most apps. but i always have my phone on carplay and the use xm radio built into the car. when it mutes music to announce a turn. the music doesn’t come back on. i had to turn off (mute) the app. the worst thing about the app is no carplay. i should have done the free trial. my fault for that.

Commercial truck. After 85,000 miles, the app just annoys me. It regularly loses my routing preferences, it’s buggy and crashes quite often.
  • App took me to bad route

I’ve been using this app for a month or so and it’s been good so far. However a few nights ago I put in directions and it took me on a road with a 10’6” clearance bridge, but my RV is 12’6” which I had entered into the app when I first started using it… not sure if this particular road was never updated on the app, but I’m glad there was a sign before the bridge so I knew to turn around. Copilot GPS should update this 😰

It’s a very good app but we need alerts for the weight stations and to tell us if the weight stations are open or close thank you

This app took me through a downtown historic district .. it should have kept me on the interstate. I’m using the truck version
  • Needs CARPLAY

Been promising for several years and it needs to be done. Trimble owns a LOT of various GPS tools, apps, programs for use across several industries. Surely they can manage that!

Good app, does it’s job. Especially helpful when you lose signal. One thing that’s need improvement, if possible and that’s is if it’s voice can be more natural. If it’s possible to use Apple voice language. I know on the android side the voice is more natural. Am talking about the Apple TTS. Or have a voice that can be more natural with TTS, like John or Lisa. Other then that keep up the good work. One more then is that when you drive a car, that it will use the car route, like for example when going to New Jersey. The truck uses the upper bridges, while the car can use the lower bridge. But for some reason it will direct the car to the upper bridges, which you will get stuck in traffic with all the tractor trailer.
  • Inaccurate & Dangerous

I drive for Walmart transportation and they installed this app into all of their semis and it is nothing but a huge mistake. Luckily I know where I am going 95% of the time but this navigation is lost 75% of the time!!

I honestly love this app, and I hope I can change my rating tom5 stars, but there’s some changes I’d need to see first. 1. Split View support for iPads - after being on the fence, I bought an ipad for my business to use over a cell phone as I saw the update log said Split View was now supported. It isn’t. When I contacted support, they said that was an error, that Split View support is built in, but only available to “enterprise customers”. Aka companies that pay a lot more. I can understand limiting some features to enterprise customers, but Split View is a very basic feature at this point, and is honestly a near necessity to have when competing. Additionally, to use this app you must pay for a license, meaning I’m paying for a license to use an app that locks out basic key features without option to even pay $5-10 more for certain features 2. Satellite view - I understand it would take more licensing, however I feel like satellite view is another major feature copilot loses out on. Without 1&2, I feel like I’m better off going with a certain competitor, unlike copilot, they do not show exit numbers and their road names data is outdated and often inaccurate. Copilot has had some of the most accurate map data I’ve used in terms of trucking gps, and I highly prefer copilot for Oversize load permits. 3. Speed limits - there is a option in settings to show speed Iimits, and to have alerts when speeding, however despite turning these features on, I have never once been shown a speed limit, nor shown my speed or alerted that im speeding. Not sure if this feature is meant to work at all Really hope these features are added/fixed.
