    The app is great for live games. It is not so good for watching a game from the beginning while it is already in progress or one that has ended. I’ve been having issues all year. Games do not start from the beginning of the pre-game show. Instead they start about 30 minutes before and there is either dead or and endless MLB promo loop. I try to fast forward and I get a black screen. Happens on both mobile device and app on the tv. 6/17/25 - trying to watch a game that already finished. I get “the event is in weather delay”!!! The event already ended! Just play it from the actual start of the game! I try fast forward and I get the black screen. Please fix this app!!! Unfortunately it is the only way I can watch baseball.

  • Blackout restrictions are so 90’s

    The current blackout restrictions are not presented ahead of time so we have no idea which games will be blacked out. Further, the blackout restrictions change during the season. Both issues are monopolistic and anti-competitive. Dare we venture into anti-corruption and monopolistic break-up territory for the MLB?

    I’m in North Carolina and can’t catch any Braves games. If it’s not blacked out, it’s on Gameday, or Apple. Thank goodness it’s the free T-Mobile version On the plus side, I’ve discovered that the Braves radio crew are fire…680 the Fan!

    Typical MLB. Beyond the blackout rules, it’s glitchy, drops out, volume issues, opening day debacle, etc. For what we fans pay, we deserve better.

    I’m signed into my television provider, but I can only watch on my phone, not on my TV. The app on my TV is saying that the game is blacked out. Um, no it’s not. I have to uninstall and reinstall the app on my TV every few weeks because it doesn’t realize that I’m signed into my TV provider. What am I paying for?

  • Intermittent Live Video Play

    Since the most recent update the live feed constantly pauses and buffers. The game now pauses when switching from full screen to the picture-in-picture display. Videos will also randomly pause when opening webpages or other apps even when those apps are not using video. Other than that, I enjoy using the app to watch my favorite team.
