    Recording is a snap with this tool. Anything beyond that is either diffucult to figure out or doesn’t work.

    I was in a pinch, about to witness something extraordinary and had to download a voice recorder app immediately. The first 2 apps I tried cost money, so my new search was for a "free voice recorder". Once I installed Voice Recorder Pro, I gave it a quick look, pressed record and relaxed into the evening knowing I was recording. All went well. Once I was back home, I listened to the recording and I was impressed at the quality, the app picked up noises near and far...it works so very well. Of course I want to crop the recording, share with my friends, only to find out that it's going to cost me, and it's going to be expensive forever. I would gladly pay a reasonable fee, as would a multitude of people according to your reviews...but 100.00 a year subscription for an app that I use only occasionally is not reasonable. So it's not for me....unfortunately. This is super disappointing, so enjoy you 1 star, forever.

    This app is great even with just the free version. I use it to record all kinds of things from my personal car concerts with an audience of 1, to conference presentations, to classroom observations that I need to transcribe at a later date. It allows for background noise to be diminished which helps to pick up on comments that might be lost in the background white noise otherwise. It’s extremely simple to use and does not limit the length of the recording or how many recordings you can make. It has been exactly what I’ve needed for my job and personal life when I want to capture something in the moment that doesn’t require video. Thank you for keeping this basic version free!

  • Buggy mess, no support

    Scam. The $100/yr for a service with no support whatsoever and fundamental features don't work, like voice to text. (Whenever it transcribes a period in your text, it puts in a null, so the last word of a sentence is mushed in with the first word of the next, creating gibberish.) I was lured in by the auto shut off feature which works if there is no background noise like a fan. Don't be a sucker like me.
