  • Too many paid recipes!

I got this app and am disappointed that an annual $50 fee is required for full access. The description didn’t mention limited availability unless you pay, so I’ll probably delete it and find something else that doesn’t require such a high price.
  • Updates please!

I’ve been using this app for over a year and love it except for the fact that updates really should happen more often and include more cocktails. I mean where is the “Contessa”?!?! I downgraded my rating as I got a new phone and while the subscription transferred all my drinks and favorites didn’t. What’s the point of having an account if you all don’t upload account settings?!?

Looked up two classic American cocktails and they’re wrong The Sazerac always uses Rye, not cognac The Rob Roy always uses sweet vermouth, not dry
  • Slick but Limited

The UI is slick and quick, but there are quite a fee drawbacks to this app. You have to scroll down on each recipe to see how many parts of each ingredient to use, that section should replace the regular ingredients list at the top. If you bartend for more than a month you’ll have a list of drinks that aren’t on here, and even a shortlist of ones that aren’t incorrect. On top of that, some cocktails you have to buy premium for in order to see the ingredients! Just search in your web browser, it will likely be easier.

  • Basic and blah

Entered all my bar ingredients and supplies and got lots of recipes. But basic. For example, I have four gins in the bar not just “gin.” As well as a variety of everything else. After seeing the results, I tried ChatGPT - I shared the varieties of gins (used to compare), fresh fruits, liqueurs, mixers, etc and bam! Chat returned a slamming recipe with variations based on the gin brands. The $25 I paid for this premium app was a waste. Can’t believe I didn’t use AI to begin with. 🤦‍♂️

I used this app when I was General Manager for a restaurant and the recipes are top tier. Such a handy tool, I started to require my bartenders to have it for their shifts

Decent, but IMO not worth the recurring charges.

I just started bartending again for the first time in a while. I needed a refresher and a good source to get back into it. The interface is beautiful and easy to use but the more cocktails I look at, the more I'm noticing the numerous mistakes with ingredients and proportions and I'm already starting to regret paying the yearly fee. Need someone checking these recipes before publishing them
