Description

Sleep better and start the day with your favorite tunes. Are you curious to see how much you slept? Then, track your sleep in the app. Alarm Clock HD is the app to help you enjoy restful sleep and wake up worry-free. How Alarm Clock HD helps you sleep better: • Unlimited Alarms: Apple Music or Alarm Sounds • Customize Nightstand display colors • Sleep Timer • Local Weather Information • Instant Flashlight - shake the device • Full watchOS 2 support • Screen Saver - for devices with OLED display WAKE UP ON TIME: Proper Alarm Settings • Keep the app open and running always to have your alarm go off and play the sounds you’ve set for ‘Music'. When your app is open, you can use the volume slider within the app. When the app is in the background, use the device volume to set your volume. • Make sure your battery is charged and have your notifications turned on before you go to sleep, when the battery level goes below 30% it might not sound. This is due to prevent the device from dying and the alarm not going off. • Keep your Apple Music available on your device The music you can select consists of everything you have available on your ‘Apple Music' app on your device. If the music is saved on your iCloud, and not on the device itself, it won’t be available. NEVER MISS AN ALARM When you close the app and do not have it running in the background, the alarm will use the device volume instead and play the notification sound system. The app will close itself automatically after 10 hours of inactivity. This is due to prevent the device from dying and the alarm not going off. When your device is muted, set to ‘Do Not Disturb’, or your device volume is set to 0, the alarm won’t play properly. It will still show the notification without any sound. This is due to Apple’s restrictions as we are unable to access the app settings when the app is closed, only when it’s open or running in the background. • Alarm should be audible even when the phone is on mute. That’s why it’s called “ALARM” clock

It’s dumb that it has to be unmuted in order to be able to hear it. Even Apple’s NATIVE alarm clock is audible when it rings. The phone is muted for a reason. I don’t like to be interrupted when I don’t want to be interrupted. Like constant Ring Camera notifications. But when you set an alarm, if you don’t want to hear it, turn it off. Landscape mode should be automatic as well. When the phone can only be in landscape mode because of the charging cable, seeing the clock sideways instead of landscape is annoying and sooooooo not visually appealing.

The initial alarm works but it does not sound again after hitting snooze.
  • This alarm does not always go off

I don’t know if there was a change this alarm worked at one time. But now often it will not go off. I will wake up on my own, and then when I open the app, it will begin to go off. Something is wrong. It needs to be fixed. I cannot recommend this for people that need to wake up.
  • Poor Upgrade

I’m so disappointed in the upgraded app. I’ve used this app for years and loved it! It was always reliable. It was having some bugs, so I deleted it and reinstalled it again. It doesn’t even play music that I have set up! I can’t get rid of the ad banner to get back to the clock screen. And now, it heats my phone up while it is on at night. I never had these problems before and will be looking for another app 😢

It seems questionable at best if my last review was not altered, and by someone I know. I may have had some things to straighten out with the developer of this app, but I’m extremely sorry that it was mentioned that I’d slap anyone; especially an app I wanted service from. I, personally, cannot see myself writing that, but there it was as I was scrolling thru the reviews. I was reading it not knowing I was the author and mortified. I’m sorry that was written. All in all - I enjoy your app; that is why I’ve refused to let you/it go. Your app has many things to offer I find pretty kewl. I’m not gonna go thru them all, but there are many things to enjoy about this alarm clock application. I’ve had it years now, and hope to keep it many more. My only gripe is that sometimes when “I did” need to count on your services the alarm failed to arrest. But, after reading my redesigned/authored review, I can understand why the developer might have not thought much of me. I do recommend this app. Try it. There are many things to discover that you wouldn’t think an alarm clock app would offer. Have fun. Sorry again* IK

I’ve used this app for years and it was great. I loved that could control snooze times, color themes, setting alarms for different days of the week etc. And it was easy to use. Never had a problem. But ever since the update the alarm has stopped sounding off. Now I’ve paid for an app that is totally useless. PLEASE FIX THE LAST UPDATE

Used to be a great app. But now you have to watch a 5 minute ad everytime you open it.

The ads are too much for me and there’s been more promo about getting the paid version which is annoying. I’ve had this app for 10 years but it’s getting too much for me now.
