  • Worst streaming app in world

    The shows are great, but the app is the worst streaming app I have ever used. It is almost impossible to get rid of “previously viewed” shows..We started a series and it was really bad, cant get rid of it. Cant fast forward the app can only mover forward or back for 10 seconds per click. The app continuously crashes and we have to log back in. Like I said the absolute worst streaming app in the world.
  • Great Movies, Poor App

    The app regularly makes me sign-in again and again. The app opens slowly, bumps me out often and just moving around in it often causes errors. It is disappointing, especially since I love the movies. Other TV apps work fine with my TV and Internet. Wish the app would be improved.
  • Unable to finish movie

    Watching new movie this evening. With about 15 minutes left app insisted on starting next movie of their choice. Tried repeatedly but no way to see the end of The Ultimate Gift on either Apple TV nor on ipad app. Very unacceptable. And this is on top of being able often to play on ipad app but not on Apple TV. Please Hallmark figure this out if you want to keep subscribers. I pay you directly not through a cable company.
  • Wish the app had Picture in Picture

    I’ve had to cancel my subscription and the app cause they don’t have Picture in Picture. I have things going on and can’t be tied down to one app and screen for a movie. It’s not worth the money for me cause I can’t dedicate that much time.

    Was great when it worked. Now it freezes on the load screen on my phone and TVs. I want to cancel but don’t know how since I’m paying for something I can’t even use.
  • Technical difficulties constantly

    Our app CONSTANTLY stops and pops up we’re experiencing technical difficulties please contact. You click ok then re-select movie and within minutes it happens again. Through entire movies so bad we’ve had to stop watching the app at times. Sometimes the whole app after several times of this will freeze, force close and reset back off the app. I have emailed hallmark and they try to say it’s my device. I have the same issue despite watching on phone, tv, tablet whatever. It still happens. No other app or streaming service that my family uses has this happen on. It’s extremely frustrating and hallmark needs to address the issue. Look into up faith and family or GAF instead until they fix this issue. I like most of the content on the app, some things are pushed passed family friendly and we turn those off.

    Just purchased the app after Hallmark stopped streaming on Peacock, the app is unresponsive and doesn’t load, when it finally comes to life scrolling is impossible.

    App continually locks up, cuts off episodes, crashes every time I use it. Already pause for a year membership so I’m stuck. Never again.

    The content itself is relatively bland escapism, non-violent safe stuff with a heavy bias towards romanticized, homogenized, unrealistic, extremely financially comfortable jet set upper middle class representation- emotional macaroni & cheese. But this app and service is one of the worst apps in the entire App Store, so I'm caught in the middle of that when giving stars for this review. In its current state, I can't rewind. Not a little bit using the button, and I can't scrub backwards either Using the slider at the bottom. And that's a big problem because the content tends to put me Into drowzyland, and I miss bits. There's also severe "known issues". And one that I've been about for a very very long time: T-Mobile does not recognize this streaming service, and Hallmark refuses to give us way to throttle data speed down from the only option Blu-ray quality, so it quickly spikes up your data consumption. But that's OK- the target audience is older women, whose needs clearly don't matter to Hallmark. We're also hammer and tongs forced into their retail cards & etc. environment now as a requirement for service, as a so-called "perk" for the significant monthly service fee price jump imposed on us last fall, and ever since, the streaming service also now refuses Canadian snowbird credit cards too, forcing us to buy US iTunes cards and pay through Apple instead of directly.
