    I’m honestly thinking of deleting Snapchat because what do you mean I have to pay for my memories my memories from years ago like Snapchat you did not have to do with this like many people are just deleting all of their photos because of what you guys have doing like I do not understand this honestly there’s no reason for us to pay like you were a great company but now it’s honestly feeling because everybody is waiting you guys won’t start because of what you guys are doing like what I want my memories back that’s the whole point of Snapchat

    I started using snap when it first came out and it was a fun social media at the time. In the past 5ish years, the quality has dwindled dramatically. It has more ads than TikTok and twitter and even that seems to be getting worse. Everyone I know either doesn’t use it or rarely use it anymore. I, and many others, cringe when someone asks for my snap. I ONLY use it for memories or if I need to send someone a video because it’s faster than messages. And now they’re CHARGING for my memories??? That’s all so many people even use snap for nowadays!! Either I have to lose 45G worth of pictures from my teenage years, or pay to see them ever again? That’s outrageous!! It’s obvious that snapchat is suffering from no longer being relevant and can’t keep up with other platforms. If either way I’m going to lose my memories, I’d rather them just pull the failing app from the App Store rather than beg for more money. Clearly they’re desperate for it.

    I have nearly 10 years of memories on this app and now you all decide to make people pay just to keep them. That is greedy, disgusting, you all should be ashamed of yourselves. Why haven’t y’all told people from the jump that their memories will only be temporarily saved, until we decide to pick your memories behind a paywall?? Had people known that from the beginning, you wouldn’t have bad as many people using this app. Y’all let people build up memories for years, a decade even, just to one day, out of the blue, pretty much say “Hey, if you don’t pay a monthly subscription, we’re gonna delete your memories.” people have stored precious occasions in this app, photos of special times, photos of deceased loved ones, and everything else. And don’t say you can just download your photos because when you download them, the date isn’t even saved, the videos are split up in increments lost in the cyberspace, and you can’t even have the text on your photos. It’s a mess. If you were provide that as a solution, at least at least make it organized. Be serious.

    I am disappointed at how this app has changed over the years. It used to be a great place to communicate but now you have to pay for almost every feature. The greed sickens and upsets me. I find it astonishing that I have to pay to see MY memories.

    Money hungry ?? I use Snapchat for the storage.. I don’t have time to pay for more storage? If you delete my photos after those “12 months” because I didn’t pay, I will stop using this app in total … I’m sure most ppl use the app for storage anyway????? Fix it

    To quick to ban accounts need to give people more leverage with appeals of n accounts depending on the servers scale of offense, if violated should be on timeout for 2 weeks to a month as result of violation instead of taking away whole account!
