PLEASE redact the automated pop-up after each “pin” asking if you’d like to share with friends. Also, if I open a pin, I don’t want to have exit out of it-the swipe out feature was ideal and more ergonomic.

The advertisements on this app are too overwhelming. It’s like 60% advertisements compared to actual content. Some of the ads are spam as well :/

Pinterest is generally the only social media I like and I use it often to find recipes and other ideas. However, I have two very large gripes with Pinterest. 1) recently, the app updated, and now you can’t swipe down out of pins or swipe left and right to see new pins. So, if you want to see a pin, you have to tap it and then tap the arrow in the far top left corner to get out of it, which is so much less user friendly than it used to be. The main reason I’m writing this review is because I really hope it will be fixed. 2) The sheer number of ads. I just counted my top 20 pins and 5 of those were ads. It seems insane to me for 1/4th of the pins shown to me to be ads. As a Pinterest lover, these are the two things that I find least enjoyable about Pinterest, and I really can only hope that #1 is fixed and #2 doesn’t continue to get worse. Thank you Pinterest team for a place to share and save ideas, but please try to remember your audience when making changes to the UI.

The new update, pins aren’t going back anymore with the drag down. Now I have to hit the back arrow? This feels like a waste of time now where the drag down felt so convenient. Bad update if this is for real.

What happened?! Why can't I swipe photos anymore with the new update? Now I can leave the photo ONLY by the cross button on the left side of the screen, and I'm right-handed, I have to completely tilt the phone, and just for reference, it's VERY INCONVENIENT!! Or why can't I just swipe left and right? What kind of stupidity did you come up with?

I love this app but this recent change that doesn’t allow you to swipe left or right through pins needs to removed and restored to the original version. Besides that I’m such a fan of Pinterest and like other updates that have been made over the past few years

All I’m trying to do is read a freaking comic and every like four slides it crashes out and glitches and I’ve got to find the freaking comic just to read the fricken thing just for the freaking crash out again I’m going to lose my mind. It keeps glitching.

idk if it’s just me but now you can’t swipe up on a pin (after clicking on it) to go back to the previous page. nor can you swipe left and right to view other pins, you have to literally press the back arrow to exit a pin and click on each pin individually, so you can’t scroll through boards or pins anymore. idk why this was taken away, please add it back!!

Hate that the swiping feature is gone, I don’t even want to use the app anymore. Swiping was the way i interacted with posts and removing it is gonna kill the app for me. AND on yalls side, swiping is the way you got us to view ads, cause if im only scrolling obviously im not gonna click the ad links?? Also the “feedback link” you invite us to use in your app update description does not bring me to a place where i can give feedback its only a help center. I genuinely loved this app, so giving it a low rating was not something i wanted to do but it feels like the only way to have my feedback be seen. Bring back swiping it’s essential to how many ppl interact w the app
