I used to love Pinterest. Now all it is, is a way to give you five million ads and zero creative ideas. Time for someone to make a competitor app

It has way too many AI images with no tags that says that it is AI and no option to sign out of seeing AI. When it's not AI images, then most of the rest is just ads. 👎👎👎👎👎👎

I love the app, but this new update has really ruined the experience for me. When I click on my board, I expect to see all of my pins right away - not a feed of ‘more ideas.’ It’s frustrating. The old setup, where you could choose to explore more ideas with a separate button whilst seeing your own pins, worked perfectly. This new layout feels completely unnecessary and confusing. Whats the point of having your own board when the first thing you see is something you never asked for? Its not pleasing to look at -at all. Not user friendly and frankly, it seems like no one asked for this change. Many are complaining, including me. Please revert it so that boards show all saved pins by default. That’s what users come for when using this app.

Nothing makes me feel like myself quite like Pinterest. From a million different feeds for every part of my personality, to an amazing UI, to the kindest comments I’ve seen on any social media app, Pinterest is the only social media that actually feels welcoming. Every board feels like a working inspiration and part of my life, every quote I see on my feed feels like something that could change my life. Pinterest can be anything you want it to be, from a kinder Instagram to a relaxed creative outlet for meticulous boards and collages, to a less addictive TikTok, to even a sort of reflective journal, each board unlocking a new part of your personality and aesthetic. Constant small updates make the experience a little happier every day, and even some of the pins make me smile just by seeing them even in my photo album, showing that the slightly addictive aspect, unlike other social medias, isnt used to replace or even as a main hook to lead to the quality of content. Thank you Pinterest, you make me happier every day.

Used to be an amazing app but now everyone you search you get dozens of ads and product placement and MAYBE 3 actual posts. Deleting soon.

I have been having issues with moving pins to other boards and sections, either I try to move too many and it ends up just voiding the pins because there’s too many to successfully move or it duplicates them, so they are still in the original board and in the new one. In one of my boards there is no option to create, more ideas, or add a section and it’s not there on other devices either. I’ve been having issues on my phone where it refuses to lead my boards, I’ll try to reload and only a few more will show up but not all of them. Also if I continue to try and refresh it’ll just lower the amount of boards loaded and go back and forth between how many are loaded in. (but still not all of them)

There are ads everywhere and every time I search something for inspiration, the only pins that come up are ai generated slop. Also the ads on Pinterest are usually disturbing looking AI books from Amazon. Seeing so much AI art on Pinterest makes me appreciate the real art there.

i have been using this app for YEARS. I love to use it for creative things and food inspo, but within the past 9 months I have noticed how almost every image on the screen is an ai rendering and not real. you can’t look up haircut inspo without it only showing fake people. you can’t look up recipes without seeing fake food and drinks. I also have beef with how many ads there are. i understand the need to make money and advertise, but it gets to the point that every pin on my phone screen is an ad and im not seeing any organic pins. very frustrating

I keep trying to make an account but no matter what age I put even if I’m over the age of 18 it still says I’m not eligible and I don’t know my password to my old account. Please fix it. I’m getting really mad at this app. I’m going to crash out. I absolutely hate this app but there’s no other apps to find stuff for editing and I hate this so much.

One day I went on Pinterest and it told me that there has been an error. A few days went by and it still wasn’t working. It’s been almost a month now and it’s still not working.I’ve been trying everything and nothing has worked. I don’t know what to do about it.
