One note continues to be a useful tool within the Microsoft ecosystem. It works well on iOS and on Windows newer integrations with copilot are seamless.

The UI design is very human.
  • The App Opens Needlessly Slow

This is a very mature app that has been around for many years. Hard to understand why opening the app and getting to the point to write a now takes so long. Compared to Google Keep, this app is slow as a snail.

I love it. I bought it years ago when it hit CompUSA store shelves. I made my 1st personal digital book. I love it. I deleted all the other apps years ago. Great! Software. Today it’s even better.

  • Cross-platform Sync Problems

One note is great for letting me work between my iPad, my Android phone, and my Windows computer. However, there are some pretty annoying sync issues from time to time, with conflicting documents clashing. There is no easy way to see the conflicts, nor to rectify them.

I’ve used OneNote since it was first launched. I use it to keep all my important information organized like passwords, medical info, home improvement projects. Best part is that OneNote can be locked down by passwords at many different levels, so it is one very secure data keeper!
  • Could easily be 5 stars

Bug: seems that upon opening notes, often it goes to “draw” feature and you scribble instead of scrolling.. Could easily be 5 stars if this was fixed and there was a feature added to search within a note…. Such a simple and great note tool that is missing… Also, i can’t believe you can’t update name of notebooks on the app…

I used goodnotes and notability for my school years but they can not do the function of editing a professional word document for my perspective. I like OneNote not only due to the free fee is also the high speed of the cloud disk synchronization. It’s amazing and I even can use my laptop of work to study which is not found by my supervisor lol.
