    Absolutely love this app. It’s great with tracking my routes and it’s always entertaining to look back on the paths I took! I’m genuinely so happy I got this app, It’s always with me whenever I go hiking, and it’s very helpful when I need directions or when I can’t decide where I want to go. Thank you to the developers, you can tell the team were hikers themselves.

    Ever since I paid for the app, I hate using it - somehow the free version functionality was both more stable and easier to navigate?! The latest two versions are driving me nuts with constant refreshes while I am viewing the list of trails to choose from, keeps bouncing me back to the top after refresh (no filters changed), and when returning to list from viewing details, I am again bounced to the top. Basically unusable!!!

    I love this app for the map features but for something I pay money for, I would expect trails to be updated regularly. Right now in Washington state, every single trail that’s even a little bit in the mountains says the same thing - severe avalanche risk, road closed because of the suiattle river, and CLOSED. At least provide accurate information so people can become prepared or know what the risks are, and updates of closures with DATES should be available

    I’ve used all tails for thousands of miles. It was really good. I EXPECT MORE NOW‼️What I don’t get is I get nothing extra, other than an aerial review of the trail for $36 per year. I’d pay $100 per year if it showed pace, more trails or options, better categories, sleeker design, talking mode, more goals and stats!… need to track more STATS‼️‼️…. The technology out there is endless and AllTrails doesn’t do anything more than what they did 5 years ago. They will say otherwise, of course, but it isn’t worth while. I will continue to use, but I’m likely Going to drop out from paying. I think they take the yearly $ and run.. no pun intended. I would add, DO NOT LEAVE HOME WITHOUT THE APP!! It has saved me many times from bad turns! Good luck out there and be safe

  • Great Idea - Terrible Execution

    Signed up using a promotional discount code. I input the promo discount code and applied said code. The annual charge was discounted as I’d expect. I then went to pay and the transaction processed. The transaction was then refunded because the discount code was no longer valid. Cool, though normally in such an instance, the discount will not apply in the first place should the promo discount code no longer be valid. This is an issue and red flag. Next, I leveraged a Passkey to Sign in with Apple. Works fine on the app on an Apple device. I then attempted to login via Safari Browser on a MacBook. I was put in a loop. Above are two challenges that make it so I can’t properly test drive the app, and given such fundamental issues such as logging in and paying, I’m wondering why I’d want to reward this bad coding and poor execution with money? The app is virtually useless without Plus subscription, though also worthless with a subscription due to above. Next, should you dabble with Plus, you’ll then be baited with Peak. Why? How many paid tiers are there? How many do you need to leverage to actually get the app to perform?

    Love this app so much. Easy to use, super detailed, up to date, and the GPS tracking alone is worth it if you find yourself in a crazy trail system where wrong turns can happen easily!

    I’ve used All Trails for years and like it a lot. But when I am looking for trails in an area, once I press on one to look further, there’s no way (that I can find) to just go back to the list I was looking at. Just please give us an obvious “BACK” button, folks!

    Such a great app if using all its features. The tracking works very well when mobile signal drops and you can easily take pictures and link them to that location. I only wish they had a filter for “unpaved.”
