  • Lots of great features

As an observer of the night sky in urban/suburban settings, I really appreciate the ability to adjust the brightness of the stars that are displayed in SkyView. There's no way that I can see even 15-20% of the stars that other app display. In effect, I can't find the ones on a star map that survive the light pollution. That's just one of many great features.

Super fun but be sure to take your phone cover off so it doesn’t mess with your compass

It’s fun to see something and be able to identify it. It’s also fun to show kids pictures in their books and then the real planets.
  • Fun and easy to use

Great app and beautiful to look at and use. The one area where it lacks is location. It needs a phone signal to automatically find itself rather than simply using GPS. Probably doesn’t come up for most users very often, but I use it while flying when I have no phone signal but I am on Wi-Fi. Alternatively, being able to manually enter Lat and Long would also solve this.
  • Love it.

I love it. I’ve always loved the stars, satellites and everything to do with space and the night sky. $2.99 is a more than fair price to pay for access to the known universe and all the information that comes with it. I also spent the .99 cents for the brightest satellites app which is a lot of fun also.
  • I love this app

I got the light version and really enjoyed it, decided one day to spring for the paid version and I’m delighted. My sister has also used SkyView for quite a while, and my husband plans to get it, too
  • I love this app but they should add something.

I love this app. I use it every day to figure out what I am looking at in the night sky. I was wondering if you could add the James Web telescope. I would also like to add more stars because some are not on here. Otherwise, I will report any bugs I find.

Would love the option to find comets and other temporary celestial events. Had to look for the A3 comet trajectory on a separate website and then use SkyView to find the constellations that were near the comet. Had to use a similar process to find 2024 PT5.
