Awesome app

Great app, I would love if the search function was better though. I use this for school and there’s so many documents and things that get sent and messages and the search function never works

This is my 3rd time at the same facility. The last 2 times I got on no problem. This time, I cannot get into this app no matter what I do. Repeatedly removed app, rebooted my phone. The administrator of the app at this facility has invited me 3 times. Nothing! Any ideas why this is happening?

The UI is very flakey on iPadOS 26. The resizing of the window does not adapt well so you end up not seeing the tail end of longer messages and the window can not be sized down to 1/3 of the screen. Most other apps have been updated to take advantage of iPadOS 26 window resizing so GroupMe is late to the game on this.

Overall I’ve very much enjoyed using GroupMe. However, the rules that you can’t have words in your bio in another language because it’s “cultural appropriation” is really stupid. Additionally there are far too many bots and that is very much a problem.

It’s good but there’s bad stuff on there you should ban p**n like actually ban it it’s bad and should not be on there

Just constantly frustrated with this app’s bugs of not loading gifs or links properly. It could be so much better of an app.

I love this app and the possibilities that it gives me, but the copilot feature has often crossed its own protocol’s and given me graphic and explicit content without realizing it! And when I ask it something it tends to give me completely inaccurate results, add its own unrelated information, and treat me like a child. If I ask it to write something, like a non magical dragon pranking his friend by placing a Whoopi cushion under him when he sits, it misunderstands and think I want the dragon to place it in him when he sits. Thankfully, it only seems to do that when it is a mythical creature. I once asked it to help me find a 13 letter word for a crossword, and it gave me one that was 15 letters, not including the space. It did this for every word I asked for, and none of them fit the definitions. I also once asked it for the name of a movie and it proved it knew which one I was talking about by stating everything in the movie, but did not answer. It then went on to treat me like a child. I eventually taught it how to find the information I wanted, double check, make sure not to include graphic or explicit content, and treat me like an intelligent human being. But because of its lack of memory between chats it forgot everything when I checked the next day. When I taught it again (which was a 4 hour process) because it was a single chat I would only be able to ask it one thing, or it ends up trying to connect the different things I have asked it. I hope they add a way to permanently delete Copilot off of the app if I so choose, turn on memory between chats, or MAKE SURE that it cannot drift into graphic or explicit content. Too many times has it written content I will not describe anymore. LET ME BE ABLE TO GET RID OF IT!!!!!

I use group me daily. The polling aspect is nice for making group plans… we’ve used many times to see what dates will be the best option for all our friends. Would be amazing if we could create food/item lists for get togethers that people could sign up for bringing an item and wouldn’t have to scroll thru all the messages to see who’s bring what. I could see this being a handy tool for teachers setting up party’s in the classrooms also.

It would be even better if the app gives me notification who’s going to my event. And who can’t go. Please ADD this feature!!! Otherwise I would have to keep checking the status periodically. Overall, it’s a great way to communicate
