I’ve tried cancelling my subscription but this app keeps charging me and makes it hard to switch to free account and stop paying.

What happened to the Trib’s smart conservative viewpoint. It’s now like all the others. Year in review photos was mostly “evil” ICE agents being mean to innocents.
  • Maybe the worst

Trib is dead, so the app matches the host.
  • As bad as it gets

This is by far the worst reading app I’ve come across. It’s clunky, hard to navigate , borderline unreadable. It seems obvious that Tribune wants to steer people towards the paper subscriptions where the money is.
  • Why did chicagotribune become garbage?

The website system has been experiencing issues, and subscription management is failing to load on different browsers. The news reports were superficial, and the journalists lacked professional competence.
  • Too Political

News is slanted and WOKE. Even political news is shown on the Obits page.
  • App is VERY sketchy.

I am a paid subscriber. I used the Chicago tribune on my computer. The app let me sign in, but then tells me I’ve used up all my free reading. Wants me to spend more money. I’ve tried everything and cannot login to this app.
  • Super Mediocre App Experience

I never knew how much better a newspaper app could be until I got the Philly Inquirer app. If the Tribune could copy and paste their app and improve graphic design like the inquirer it would be much better off!
  • Many bugs

Headline of today’s paper not showing up. Can’t get out of an article back to newspaper mode after reading. Some readability improvement won’t new font and layout but it doesn’t make up for all the other issues. New ones every update
  • Not great

New version is better, but still is often awkward. Would be nice if it there was some alignment between the primary digital and the facsimile newspaper versions:, especially on Sunday. Have a digital link to the Arts & Entertainment, Life + Travel, Thursday Food section. Life + Travel is often missing from the Sunday paper facsimile, and on those days I’ve been unable to find digital versions of features that usually appear in that section. On the iPhone version of the Sunday facsimile, the edges of the puzzles are cut off.
