  • Poor filtering, mostly scammers

    This review is after about 3 months of use. There is no way to filter matches by sexual orientation, so have to weed through a lot of what I'm not looking for. As well, many men pretending to be women. Mostly though, it's just spam/scam accounts, 90%+. Most "matches" will send links to some porn site. Others will attempt catphishing scams or occasionally I even get crypto or other investment scamming. I always report them but they just keep making new accounts, often with the same picture. Often they are using ai generated photos. I have met one person, which was pay to play and that's fine. A couple others seemed real, but flaked on meeting, or ghosted. Ads occasionally get in the way but that's a minor nuisance compared with the many many low quality matches. Recommend you look on a different app.

    Tell me how the hell did I match with 6 “females” and only 1 of them didn’t have the same thing that have in my pants This app isn’t like it used to be Just horny guys pretending to be women And the actual women are mostly there for the LIVE feature making them believe they’re actually somebody but it’s only incels watching This app is garbage Waste of time It’s become grindr with a Live feature Guys I guarantee you’ll match with someone here But make sure you ask the fundamental questions like Are you a man dressing as a female? Because most of them are and meetme does nothing to mitigate this Just allow mfs to catfish for free Have straight men thinking they’re talking to a female til they send pictures of them in their underwear and their bulge is staring in the face like Gotcha Trash app

    The app messed up my email somehow and I’m pretty sure it was a hack. Now I can’t delete my account and I keep getting more and more unwanted texts! HELL ME DELETE MY ACCOUNT!!! 😭

  • Ineffective & inefficient

    MeetMe is convoluted, most of the users are bots / scammers who send automated messages to add them on Telegram, SnaoChat or Kik. The streamers are real people but many of them are nowhere near the location on their profile. Most importantly, despite the name, the users and the app are not focused on meeting but rather having frivolous chatter and streaming nothing entertaining but just their face as they're in bed. MeetMe is a depressing waste of time. Even if I manage to find real people who are nearby the amount of nonsense it takes to find those people is not worth it.

    Meet me is a joke. The app and the support team doesn’t care about you they only care about the money you spend inside the app. They banned me for no reason. They don’t investigate deeper into the banning of the person do not use this app go somewhere else if you wanna find a connection. There are women who are just gold diggers and the men are so disrespectful it makes women my size feel suicidal. The app is glitching bad by showing that my messages have been red when they clearly haven’t.
