    This website is a scam. I was booking a room for the next day. I changed the date and booked a room for that availability. I refreshed my screen and then booked my stay. When I saw the confirmation it was for today’s date instead of the next day. I called booking.com like 15 min after and they said so sorry the free cancellation is not free since it’s the same day. It’s 10:30pm. Obviously I’m not booking a check in at 3pm for today if it’s 10:30pm. The email sent stated it’s up to the hotel whether they want to refund my money because they already charged my account when I also requested to pay at the hotel. My suggestion just book with the hotel. My rate was cheaper with the hotel.

    I used to love this app, everything worked clearly like clockwork and everything was transparent. The support was great. Now it's like something changed and their service has become bad, it's very hard to cancel a reservation and even when it is canceled I have to contact them 2-3 times to get my money back, I still can't get my money back for three months. First they talked for a month, then two. Now I have to call again.... The second booking was terrible! I made a booking and it said it was all inclusive, then the owner started to write to me that he would charge me extra for a few questionable things, I tried to resolve this issue with Booking but they couldn't do anything, then the owner canceled my booking unilaterally, but it was not canceled in my account and my money was not refunded, booking was again useless and can't resolve the issues and make refunds, I have to spend a few hours communicating with this company, and even after that I'm not sure what they are doing.

    Booking dot com left me high and dry at hotel check in desk- I had an email confirmation and night showing up on my card account as paid but the hotel never got the confirmation and after 3-4 hrs trying to contact Booking the hotel wouldn’t let me stay there unless I paid up front ( which was much more than I had already paid) The bad joke is that I got an email NINE days later saying they could not make the booking and would I like to find another hotel for that night. I’ve contacted Booking countless times w no reply, I had used them quite a bit but found out Agoda is better ( so is klook, and Travelocity and so on)
