I used to be able to scan my food barcode now they make you pay. Nowadays most apps don’t make you pay for it. Found better app called NutritionIX (green apple with multiple holes in apple) in the App Store. You are actually able to scan bar code without needing to pay along with no ads too!!

Great app. Easy to create recipes and track everything you eat. Need to open up macros and barcode reader to non premium users though.

I’ve used this app for a long time. It’s very helpful and handy. I’ve lost over 60lbs with this app and I recommend it to everyone. My complaints are that the subscription is pricey and it often requires me to login (too often) even when I use it everyday. Fix that!

I liked the older interfaces. It’s too busy now. Still does the job, but other seemed more visually pleasing/user friendly.

I love it, food logging is so much accurate. I would suggest premium account to log the food without searching so many options, just scan it.
  • Not what it used to be

I have used my fitnesspal in the past and I remember being able to scan my food for free, making it so much easier to log food. I get paying extra for macros and whatever but it seems like anything other than just basic is extra. Makes me not want to use the app anymore.

Why are widgets an option but they no longer work. Becoming very disappointed in this app. Going to seriously reconsider paying for an app that is not working as it should.
  • Pay for everything???

This app used to be great but now you have to pay to simply scan barcode. That’s absolutely ridiculous
  • Food listings should prioritize your own food history by meal

If you eat many of the same types of foods at certain meals or times of the day, you shouldn’t have to go looking for them in order to log them. They should be right at the top.
