I track my food and it doesn’t save. I have to re-enter everything several times for one day and most of the time only half the items are saved
  • Great app!

The features that MFP have had for the last decade have not changed. It counts macros for food and keeps a diary. The way that they have tried to keep up with technology and utterly failed is highly disappointing. The MEAL SCAN option is completely useless. I have scanned a Nespresso capsule and it tells me it’s a chocolate bar. Get for real. Most things that I have scanned have been completely wrong. Often not even in the same food group. QUICK ADD is convenient and does work pretty good for the most part. It does like to change the calorie total as you add the macros, which can be annoying but it could also be helpful. Overall, it works. EXERCISE CALORIES needs an option in between what is currently there. I track my runs and workouts with Garmin, synced to MFP. I do not want for those calories to be added back, but I do want to see them. Maybe a better option is to get rid of the option to choose and display both by default on the diary. Just stack them with new formulas. Goal - Food = Remaining Remaining + Exercise = Net The FASTING TRACKER is a great addition. No issues with that at all. Works great. Only improvement I could make would be to add a prompt only when a calorie positive food is added that asks if you want to end the fast. This was 0 calorie coffee, salt packets and such will not affect it, but the fast will break when calories are logged. HEART HEALTHY tracks the fat, sodium, and cholesterol. Cool. The name makes no sense. Get rid of the “Y” and just call it HEART HEALTH. The BARCODE SCANNER needs a larger database. None of my Korean food is recognized. Maybe a personal library of things that I scan is the solution. This way I can add the macros once and it will remember for my future scans. If enough people add it to their personal library with the same macro breakdown, it automatically gets added to the main database. That’s how you grow autonomously. Not with faulty AI guesses from pictures. Or tighten up your AI to recognize text better and start expanding the database.

Another chore. Too bad it takes so long to accurately log everything. Looking forward to a product that gets it faster. You got me for a year. Already cancelled..wish I could get the $99 bucks back.

It works to track your calories, it’s just annoying that it randomly logs you out.

I love this app. I have lost 50 lbs since I started tracking my food. I’ve tried just about every diet know to man, but this is the one that is consistently successful for me.
  • Sad updates

I used to use this app all the time and told so many people about it. Now with the updated version, you don’t have MOST of the features you used to without paying a ridiculous amount for a subscription. Maybe 5$/month would be reasonable but I can’t even track my macros or scan barcodes without the subscription now. Such a sad update when this is meant to help people get healthier and the money for that should go towards supplements, protein, ect. Not an app to simply track. Will now be referring people to other apps that don’t charge for basic things.
  • Too expensive

Used it when it was free without so many ads and it was just as good. 20$ a month is what gpt costs and it can do the same things as this plus everything else too. Cannot justify the new price.
