  • Aggressive tracking and data collection is a privacy concern

June 2025 *******This recent massive app update at 1300mb happens to coincide with an also sizable update to their PRIVACY POLICY terms regarding USER DATA…. I need to go through it more thoroughly but it has given me pause for the moment on whether to continue using this app, despite relying on delivery of groceries due to disability. Since their push to compete with Amazon online they have continually headed in what seems to be the wrong direction at the expense of the customer base and as a frequent user I can attest that the app experience reflects this clearly…. Update may 21 2025- rating improved to 1.75, rounded to 2 stars for sake of input- the app is still a glitchy pile of mess and pricing deceptions, but one favorable thing is they seem to have maintained the relative size of the updates in the range of 350mb- which goes to say that it was previously filled with bloat and unnecessary content that contributed to or was complicit with who knows what…. Hopefully they will continue to improve the functionality and usability aspects of the app as that’s what these reviews are for - not your issues with your local store and its team….. Update April 2025 - “congrats” on getting the updates <400mb, I mean sure there were five in the last week… if any details were provided in regards to what was being updated it may likely alleviate some concerns about this bloated poorly designed scantly functioning cask of code. Perhaps is just that it’s so poorly designed that even the most simple on the fly /hot fix requires a complete update issuance…. The problem are still there, the listed search results of an items details availability and most importantly price , are all subject to wide sweeping extravagant changes between every click and is presented initially time and again in a manner to entice an add to cart from the search or the generated “people also bought” type of lists under an item - and inevitably it will often be far more expensive than shown- ******* even when it is just showing the one item and not showing options or anything else that would imply the price could vary ******** How many times do people hit add item and keep shopping online , and finish the carts checkout without noticing that price difference? And is this by design, because it seems to be occurring at a consistently higher frequency over time…..I stay alert to this because my very small budget is down to the nickel (gotta have that tiny allowable fluctuation I suppose) so I am hyper-vigilant about all purchases and getting the most for my money on reoccurring ones such as groceries…. Update-February 5 2025 and we’ve had more updates than we’ve had weeks this year by nearly double and zero improvement…. Update-another several 500mb updates the last few weeks and they have somehow managed to make it even worse. Any adjustments to search filters results in perpetual “loading” akin to the days of aol and 14400 baud modems….the ai chat “assistant” forced onto the bottom of the screen I’m sure has nothing to do with why it won’t work properly on a 15 pro max with nothing else running and real 5g / fiber connectivity at the ready….. Maybe I’ll have to crawl back to Amazon and see if the new regional fulfillment center has a leg up now Oh Walmart, you were doing a splendid job with Walmart plus initially I thought you were going to give Amazon some real direct competition, but you couldn’t maintain it for much more than two years it would seem- maintain isn’t the right word…. Keep the decline at a manageable rate so that it could at least hang on until a more reliable alternative that could at least get the majority of prices listed correctly for ones that are wholly Walmart managed…. The app is so buggy and inconsistent with the finer functionality. 400-600mb updates near weekly that have no impact on the ongoing problems…if lucky it ends at that, but every few times they like to slip in a surprise and just muck up the system a little extra. Hopefully some significant improvements will come along as I do regularly and frequently use this app for personal deliveries shipping and pickup orders across a multitude of store and home locations

I enjoy knowing that if I need to deal with support, there’s always a very short wait time to speak with an agent. Regardless of the time. All have been polite, helpful and wonderful with finding a resolution.

Why does the app give you online/delivery options when selecting “In Store” ? Before it would give you the in store stock options first and THEN the online options available. Now I feel like I have to scroll more than necessary to see what I can get in store. They need to add an option for “In store Only” to be able to see available stock of the store/stores near me.

YOU WILL NOT GET YOUR STUFF. Every other service I order from makes it to my house, no issues, 3 out of 3 times Walmart has NEVER made a successful delivery and I always have to get refunded. Your “spark” drivers are stealing stuff, and not doing their jobs.
