Free for 30 days (sometimes 60 days)… then it appears the business model is to hope you forget to cancel… so make sure you cancel out properly (call them to confirm and remove your cc info) as they do not give refunds even if you try to cancel on the day the free trial ends/paid begins. They must not get many renewals so they are stringent to make cancellation hard (or reject)… this should tell you all you need to know about the App/company. The service is like Amazon prime in that you get some low value resources but the high value resources (books/commentary’s) are for sell. If you build a big library thru these purchases, it will help you organize them.
  • Good But Too Complex

I had been using the NRSV and had it downloaded onto my iPad. I was forced to go to the UAE edition, but I’ve been unable to download it. The app has all sorts of features which complicate life. I’ve tried to download the latest version since I am off-line occasionally, but I’ve been unable to. The help doesn’t seem to match the application very well. I generally like the presentation of the Bible, but I would like to have it on my iPad. I have the Bible as part of the Book application, but it is a pain to switch to it from the other devotions that I have also on Book. Using this app makes it simpler to switch to the Bible and back to the devotion.

I’ve tried all the Bible apps (at least all the big name ones). This one is the best. What makes it stand out is that it’s SUPER powerful. I started off just wanting a simple Bible app, and this app worked for that. As I grew and found myself wanting more and more, this app continues to blow me away. This is THE app that Bible scholars and seminary students use, but it’s also simple enough for basic lay people to use. FANTASTIC!

I really enjoy using the Logos desktop software, but the iPad app has been nearly unusable due to frequent crashes. I have a library of over 12,000 books—could that be contributing to the issue?

The first app I ever tried that allowed me access to deep dive study! My prayers were answered! I seek to KNOW and grow the One that saved me and sustains me in whom I can trust and will live with to worship in eternity! I only wish to know Him more and serve Him more and obey Him more! Your app gives me the opportunity

Been reading the Bible every night on this app for as long as I can remember. I think this was the second app I ever put on my first phone after I switched over from carrier pigeon. Jokes aside it is very good. I like the ease of looking up words and references. I find it really helpful being able to leave different passages open and arrange tabs so I can easily swipe between private reading, morning service, evening service, and Bible study passages. That makes the sermons feel more connected from week to week. But seriously its the Bible on you phone. If you are reading this, you probably have read way to many before me. Just read the Bible instead.
