    The app is amazing, and has helped me in incredible ways, but a problem I had was that a screenshot was flagged for explicit content, and I wondered what it possibly could’ve been because I have been staying clean. I look to see the screenshot and it’s the ufc fight I’m watching. So maybe the only problem would be updates to the AI system and it’s flagging. But amazing app, truly a blessing.

    Overall USELESS app. Screen time is as effective on it’s own and is free. CE adds nothing of value. Note that I spoke to member services to validate all of this already and I will be canceling. I have strong blocking on. This app records almost NOTHING outside of Safari, other than background activity if the website is explicitly p-rn. They can just go online on another app, for example opening an in-app browser in Apple Maps, and do whatever they want, and you will never know unless you check their screen time anyway. CE can enforce blocking of explicit p-rn websites across all apps, but it does not block everything that really is p-rn. And none of that is recorded because it’s not explicitly marked as p-rn. CE customer support will suggest deleting all apps that allow in app browsing to remedy this, but that is not practical when almost all normal apps allow this. If we have to do that, we are better off getting rid of the smart phone and getting a flip phone, which defeats the use case of CE. Additionally other largest flaw is that the user can also just turn off VPN whenever they want and do whatever they want, rendering the app useless. Nothing is recorded when VPN is off (background activity or screenshots or anything). There is no way to prevent them from turning off VPN. CE will tell you that you will get an alert when VPN is turned off, however this is an inconsistent beta feature that hasn’t worked in months (it has worked on and off in the past), and generally is not all that helpful because there is a big difference between being informed that VPN was turned off and actually being able to see what they did while VPN was off. CE Marketing is straight up lies, this app is completely useless. Anybody with half a brain can evade it pretty easily. Absolutely ABSURD that CE raised prices despite being so USELESS. Just use screen time for blocking, and maybe look into other accountability apps.

    This app keeps saying that someone’s tried to access adult websites, when absolutely none of that has been attempted. It will screenshot everything done on safari but for some reason can’t screenshot the connection to an adult website that never happened. I continuously get blamed and criticized for something I did not do. It’ll randomly say you tried to watch porn when you didn’t. Don’t sign up save your money I have asked for a refund and canceled my membership.

    This app is dumb. It’s not what it says on the description. It pops up and doesn’t let you do anything except turn the phone off for dumb reasons. Do not get it.

    This app does nothing but provide false hope and lacks accountability. If you are an iPhone user there is no sense in waisting your money, there are so many ways around it. Major disappointment and causes more problems than it helps.

    Even writing this review is taking forever because of how the VPN is messing with my phone. If you’re going to charge high, I expect high quality. This used to be a 2 star review but I have to knock you guys down to one because this is horrible

  • Doesn’t allow in flight entertainment

    Still buggy for such an expensive app. If this was free I wouldn’t mind, but since it’s so expensive I do know if it’s worth it. I have a fully updated iPhone 16 Pro. Trying to fly American, and checked to make sure IOS was up to date. If you don’t travel or the plane has screens it may not be a big deal. If you want to take advantage to free messaging, it doesn’t work.
