    I will be leaving indefinitely after a parent was able to lie in their review and Care will do nothing to remove it or give a chance for me to respond to it. Don’t spend your money here!
  • Lacking Rating on Cancellation Rate

    The app generally does what it is intended to do and have some good sitters. My only complaint is that there is no indication of last-minute cancellation rate of sitters or any repercussion on that behavior, where sittter just unexpectedly cancel one hour before the scheduled time due to some ‘personal emergency’, which has disrupted my schedule a few times.

    I renewed my subscription which showed in my bank and subscription list in my account, even on their app but did not go through on their end. The upgrade was not working. I then spoke to 3 different customer service reps and they all tried to put the blame on me for it not working. One even tried lying and said it was due to a typo in my email (I even sent a screenshot showing her everything was correct). The app itself isn’t the worst to find someone to hire, but I will never be returning to this platform again after multiple horrible experiences. None of the customer service reps I spoke to wanted to do their job.

    How stupid is this app! I am looking for someone that speaks Mandarin Chinese but it will only let me search by local zip code. I can't do a national search for a unique talent. Completely idiotic!

    The app itself has issues. Showing notifications when there are not any, glitching, not able to cross our caregivers you have no interest in, no clear way to see if you’ve messaged someone before etc. let alone the people on there- you could message 50 people and most are not available or don’t get back to you. Not the best when people don’t update info.
  • Frustrating User Experience

    I attempted to use Care.com to find a house cleaner but was met with a convoluted and frustrating user experience. The sign-up process was unnecessarily complicated, requiring the creation of separate accounts for different services without any integration between them. Each login prompted an intrusive “Are you a human?” check, adding unnecessary friction. The lack of a unified account system and constant verification hurdles reflect a disregard for user convenience. If the initial user experience is this cumbersome, it raises serious concerns about the quality and reliability of the services offered beyond the login screen.

    I had made an acc and while trying to process to be a sitter they flagged me after taking my money and putting my social I contacted customer service and they “put in a ticket” to review my acc and they just emailed me saying it still wasn’t able to go thru so they banned me for no reason

    They will take money from you and those in your community. It’s not worth it to use them. None of their services are refundable. Even if you happen to misclick or click on something to find out more about the many options they offer while checking out.

    I have been trying to find a helper for two weeks with no success. The categories are not clear and the candidates are interested in narrow jobs. My money so far has had no return!

    I cancelled my subscription was charged another 120 dollars and when I contacted them they told me “subscriptions are non refundable” in reply to every time I’d say there was no subscription… scam artists
