Description

Dropbox lets you upload, save, and transfer photos and files to the cloud. Backup and sync your pictures, videos, documents, and other files to cloud storage and access them from any device, anywhere. With advanced sharing features, it’s easy to share and send photos or files to family, friends, and co-workers. Features: • Automatically upload videos and photos from your camera roll to cloud photo storage - all in the background - for easy video sharing and photo sharing. • Access any file in your account - even offline - and preview over 175 different file types with no special software required. • Easily send large files by copying and pasting a link you can give to anyone, even if they don’t have a Dropbox account. • Scan documents, receipts, IDs, photos, and more using your mobile device and transform them into high-quality PDFs, so you can view and send anywhere. • Sync folders on your PC or Mac to Dropbox with computer backup, and recover older versions or restore deleted files with version history and file recovery. Sign up now for your free Dropbox Plus trial. You’ll get 2 TB (2,000 GB) of storage space - that’s enough room to save files from all your linked devices. And with Dropbox Rewind, you can roll back any file, folder, or your entire account, up to 30 days. Before starting a trial or completing payment, you’ll see the plan price. This amount will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase and on renewal and will vary by plan and country. Dropbox subscriptions renew monthly or yearly, depending on your plan. Your account will be charged for renewal 24 hours before the end of your current billing period. To avoid auto-renewal, turn it off within at least 24 hours before your subscription renews. You can turn off auto-renewal anytime from your Apple ID account settings. You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your account settings on the App Store after purchase. Dropbox is a secure cloud solutions leader trusted by Fortune 500 companies for their most sensitive data. I signed up for a free trial period. The trial was cancelled 24 days before it was to end. I cancelled in my account but did not receive a verification of cancellation until 23 days later. Immediately after receipt of the cancellation confirmation I was sent another email thanking me for upgrading although I had done nothing of the sort. Now my account has been billed while I sit waiting to hear back from support as they have no live support or chat help for these issues.

Let me export to another app. Sharing a link is not what I need to do.

Dropbox is my favorite storage app that I’ve ever used! For having it’s free benefits, it really is a good app. I really enjoy it and recommend it.
  • Useless support, broken billing

The app inundates you with ads about upgrading your account and buying more storage, but apparently if you originally subscribed to a plus account from the Dropbox website, if you try to upgrade through the app, you will be billed $200 before it quickly flashes an error saying you can’t be upgraded, then the option to upgrade disappears. The $200 charge still posted and support is telling me it’s my fault for trying up upgrade through the app and not the browser. If this isn’t supported the stop advertising the upgrade in the app! Now I am out $200 and my account is not upgraded. The useless AI chatbot support just regurgitates the same unhelpful things over and over. Hopefully apple support is able to refund this and fix this nonsense. I’m switching to a different cloud storage provider after this.

  • Can't give Zero Stars!

Hate the unprofessional interface. I don't need cartoons, I need to see at a glance how my files are being organized. My RAW images from iPhone 14 Pro running iOS 18.7.2 (most recent v of iOS 18), are converting to jpg files when I export them from Photos, in spite of selecting Keep Current format within Photos app and within DropBox settings to Preserve Original. This is maddening! This app has been nothing but trouble as I try to migrate my professional photography work flow from laptop to iPhone. Update: Late December 2025 RAW files are properly uploading after an update. Early January 2026: Zero change in either my app version nor workflow, and once again not able to upload RAW files without them being converted to jpg. This is madness!
