Dropbox lets anyone upload and transfer files to the cloud, and share them with anyone. Back up and sync docs, photos, videos, and other files to cloud storage and access them from any device, no matter where you are. And with advanced sharing features, it’s easy to share docs and send files—large or small—to family, friends, and co-workers. Features: • Automatically upload videos and photos from your camera roll to cloud photo storage—all in the background—for easy video sharing and photo sharing. • Access any file in your account—even offline—and preview over 175 different file types with no special software required. • Easily send large files by copying and pasting a link you can give to anyone, even if they don’t have a Dropbox account. • Scan documents, receipts, IDs, photos, and more using your mobile device and transform them into high-quality PDFs, so you can view and send anywhere. • Sync folders on your PC or Mac to Dropbox with computer backup, and recover older versions or restore deleted files with version history and file recovery. Sign up now for your free Dropbox Plus trial. You’ll get 2 TB (2,000 GB) of storage space—that’s enough room to save files from all your linked devices. We’ve also introduced some new features as part of your Plus plan: Dropbox Passwords to store and sync passwords across all your devices and Dropbox Vault to secure and organize your most sensitive documents. And with Dropbox Rewind, you can roll back any file, folder, or your entire account, up to 30 days. Existing Plus customers can upgrade to Dropbox Professional. With 3 TB (3,000GB), you can store all your stuff—from work projects to personal photos—and have space to spare. You and your clients can comment on most file types without leaving Dropbox. And you can protect your work with a watermark, add shared link controls, or rewind your account up to 180 days. Before starting a trial or completing payment, you’ll see the plan price. This amount will be charged to your iTunes account at confirmation of purchase and on renewal and will vary by plan and country. Dropbox subscriptions renew monthly or yearly, depending on your plan. Your account will charged for renewal 24 hours before the end of your current billing period. To avoid auto-renewal, turn it off in at least 24 hours before your subscription renews. You can turn off auto-renewal anytime time from your iTunes account settings. You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your account settings on the App Store after purchase. Dropbox is a secure cloud solutions leader trusted by Fortune 500 companies for their most sensitive data. • 5/20/22 iOS update saving another file as opposed to asking to update an existing file.

I could not find a way to contact Support other than the Community or bot. Neither had the answer. 5/20/22 iOS export out of Pages UPDATE command is saving duplicate files in Dropbox as opposed to asking to update an existing file. Besides being terribly frustrating, this is going to eat up space very quickly. I believe t his is a bug which began with the APP update on iPhone and iPad. I have signed in and out; deleted and reloaded, as well as restarted both devices. Same annoying problem. Please fix.
  • Files corrupt!

I’ve been using drop box for years and always have had an issues with files going corrupt from one day to the next. Now I have thousands of pictures, many old memories when my kids were young, and our adventures. All of them, gone! I will be switching back to one drive. This is absolutely ridiculous. Why pay for two tb of storage for a crap load of corrupt files! No, I haven’t called drop box because they are just going to tell me there is nothing they can do about it. Very frustrated, very sad.

Been using for years (like iPad ver one), and love it! Started using it for markdown notes and need to find a good MD editor for my iPhone to modify and create new notes. I’m currently using the native edition in Dropbox to modify but can’t create .md files (or don’t know how to change the extension. GREAT PRODUCT!

Files that get uploaded when signal is low gets put on the back burner and forgot about. It takes me finding the files and watching them slowly upload to get them sent. Liked it when they uploaded one at a time better than this new method.
  • Quickly becoming a terrible app

Dropbox has become very intrusive just like Google and Microsoft. They are constantly trying to steal and mine for your personal information at rapid speeds. It amazes me! They don’t want you to send them information as far as feedback or contact them in any kind of way. They want you to go through forums and chat rooms and communities just like Google and Microsoft it’s ridiculous that you can’t even call someone send email to someone or ask a stupid question they want you to jump through hoops and find this and find that research then go here we go there ridiculous.

Great app, and after many complaints you finally updated the revision list for the update, but now again are being lazy and repeating old list. Would like to know why I’m updating, not all of us automatically allow this and want insight on what’s happening.
  • Big video compression when using Dropbox on iPad

Just a heads up to users using dropbox professionally—using it on an iPad means big time compression of video files (without telling you). I found out the hard way working with a client. It’s silly—I’m on an $1800 iPad Pro and the app is treating it like an iPad 2. I thought using the web-app (through Safari) would work when the app didn’t, but still mad compression. Time to catch up with the times or at least let users know compression is happening.
  • NOT able to upload multiple photos or files using the iOS Share Extension!

I was so happy to see that Dropbox claims to have fixed one of the big negatives in using their app which is the inability to upload multiple photos at a time directly from the photo app or Files app in iOS to Dropbox. The latest update states… “Upload multiple photos or files from your camera reel, email and other applications directly into Dropbox using the iOS share extension.” THIS DOES NOT WORK! As soon as more than one photo or file is selected, the ability to share to Dropbox disappears. Very disappointed this needed improvement has not been correctly implemented!
