    The mobile experience is actually quite good and the fact that I don’t need to pay for cable/Paid TV to get all of ESPN is a good thing, maybe. Watching sports on my phone is exhausting so I rather watch on a 65” TV. Unfortunately, the TV experience is terrible. It used to be good, at least on Apple TV, Roku and Google TV. And ESPN+ used to be cheap, had the UFC and Grand Slam tennis. ESPN is kind of going backwards. They spent years putting together their standalone service but couldn’t figure out how to keep the streaming experience intact. These major networks complain about the high cost of media content but sports have adds by default, which means millions in revenue. Yet they can’t provide you with a good user experience or broadcast major events in 4K—well, not unless you pay $80 for HULU Live. So now you gotta pay for both internet service and cable—what a scam!

    Glitchy, slow, crashes and makes my phone’s temperature raise to heat that could rival Johnny Storm. Quite annoying.

  • App went from hero to zero

    The app used to provide a pleasant experience where my sports and teams were prioritized and I could get immediately to the game I was interested. That feature seems to have gone away as the ability to even favorite teams is gone. Now I have to scroll for 5 minutes to get past sports I have zero interest in to get to my teams and games. It’s not surprising, though. ESPN is a dinosaur from 1900s media that has no clue how to operate in the 21st century. Their commentary is absolute trash and not a value add, and that’s when they aren’t venturing into politics which has tanked their reputation. At least I no longer have to use them to watch any baseball games. Other leagues, take note and move elsewhere when your contract is up.

    This latest update, nothing is working in any sports section. Cabot view who is playing, scores, etc. Keeps reverting to an update though have updated the app 3 times. Please fix.

  • Buggy & Slow

    This app is absolutely terrible. First off, i haven’t been able to sign into my TV provider in over a year because whenever i select the option, the screen freezes. I now can’t even check NCAAM scores, as it is showing me there are no games, on a night there are games. Furthermore, this app takes an obscenely long time to load anything.

    Super slow, horrible delays, lagging nonstop, constantly need to force stop and restart, only app on my phone that has these issues

    Watching live feed of Barcelona and Real Madrid and the app literally crashes every 2mins. This is not the first time it happened. Just a worthless app at this point. Unbearable.
