    Iphone 17, newest iOS, literally got the phone 3 days ago and ESPN crashes multiple times a minute

    The Apple TV ESPN app has gotten significantly slower and more buggy since the “new” ESPN app branding. Multiview crashes every time on grid view after zooming in on one stream. The app is very slow to load any stream. No problems with other apps or connections, definitely just the ESPN app (which actually used to be quick to load with a great four-stream multiview). Unfortunately, the app quality keeps getting worse. Clearly ESPN does not care about the user experience at all or even test in real user situations. Reaching Support is too difficult also. Only available by phone or chat. If you’re lucky enough to reach someone to report an issue, they supposedly record it, but they refuse to follow up if/when anything is fixed (because it isn’t). Email just tells you to call instead. Horrible. This issue has been going on for months with no end in sight. Reproducible from multiple devices in different locations. They just don’t care. They might have the content you want, but the app makes it impossible to access it consistently. I cancelled my ESPN subscription. No point in paying for something I can’t use. They need a major overhaul of app quality and organization to support customers.

    This app has its ups and downs. Over the years has had several issues. A long standing issue I’ve had is not being able to select new favorite teams or new sports I want to put in my top feed. Every time I go to select, it says an error has occurred. It has done that for years

    I’ve used this app for everything sports for I dunno a decade or so. Never loved it, it’s consistently getting worse and now for the last few weeks it crashes randomly no matter what I’m doing.

    I’m a paid subscriber to ESPN plus but every time I view the ESPN app on my iPhone it literally crashes in 20 seconds. I’ve uninstalled it and reinstalled it numerous times but it continues to crash.

    First, it’s very difficult to gain access through a paid service. Second, when I select “play game from beginning”, don’t show the game cast score. What is the point of that default set up. Your app is really weak.
