Recently, reddit and Instagram posts don’t properly save on this app. They both appear greyed out in the app and don’t appear when using the Pocket website on a computer.

The “add to pocket” shortcut is not working properly. “Bad request” always pops up

App is inaccessible for days, & occasionally months. Neither the rare update, nor delete/reboot solves the issue. It returns eventually, though the current lapse is the longest so IDK if Pocket is gone for good.

I wish this app worked well. Or even good enough. I'll save an article and when I go to open it, it's a white empty screen. Also I don't understand in the emails they send out, the recommended articles you still need to pay for them. Don't understand the logic.
  • Some features are missing

I use pocket mostly on my PC because the mobile app is missing some of the features I need to use it. I can’t access my collections (or at least, it isn’t immediately obvious how to access them). I can’t search for topics, I just have to hope that the recommended stories are close to my interests.

I’ve been using this app for YEARS and through each recent update it’s been getting worse and worse, near the point of unusable.
  • Yikes on Mac!

Cannot adjust the tiny font. The app, articles, and layout are obviously designed for iPhone/iPad and NOT a Mac laptop. Please fix.
  • Saves not showing title, only URL

I’ve been using Pocket for a long time but recently, new saves from IMDb are no longer displaying the page’s title inside the Pocket App. All my saves just look like URLs so besides the tags, I have no idea what they are until opening them. Since I have hundreds of saves, this makes it impossible to go through them. I love this app but this problem must have began with an update at some point as my old IMDb saves show titles. Please fix this!
  • Battery drain, overheating, crashing

All of a sudden, my brand new (iPhone 16 Pro) is overheating, losing battery precipitously, and the app is crashing. For a while, the app didn’t even have the highlight function. What gives? Considering moving to another link-keeping site after many years of patronage
  • Needs some obvious improvements

The tab/screen for viewing saved content needs options to view it in a more pleasing manner than the list view which is all that's now available. Something like cards or a magazine-style layout similar to the Home tab that shows suggested reading. The way it is now really makes your saved content seem like second-tier material and not as enjoyable to browse. And smart tag suggestions, based on the article content that matches previous tags, would be nice. All it does now is suggest recently used tags. Also, after entering a tag, the tag field doesn't clear, so you have to delete it manually before entering a second tag. This a constant annoyance because I tag everything. IIRC the android app doesn't have this problem. Otherwise, the actual reading view of the articles is pleasant and the sharesheet extension is handy (and necessary, obviously). This is my go-to article-saving app but the unattractive layout for viewing saved content still keeps me on the lookout for something better.
