The games are obviously good but they make it difficult to cancel subscription seemingly on purpose. You have to call or do it online but someone’s you can’t end subscription online because of the one you have? In my opinion it shouldn’t be this difficult.

I love all the games the New York Times offers. Our family really enjoys playing all of them.

What a remarkably poorly optimized app. Why does Wordle ever not load instantly? All it needs to get from the network is FIVE LETTERS. Connections is 16 words and 4 phrases. Strands is a couple dozen letters. And yet all of these puzzles will take MINUTES to load if you’re not in a perfect network environment. Maybe instead of useless UI updates and AI integrations, you could clean up what I assume is a mountain of spaghetti code resulting from your acquisitions (why is sports connections not here?) and make this app usable for those of us who, I dunno, leave our Wi-Fi bunkers sometimes and exist in the real world.

I cannot support or use a product of the company who is in the business of disinformation. Removing from my phone.

NYT Games app does not open correctly anymore on iPadOS 17.7.9. I have to do a complete device reboot to make the NYTGames app open instead of getting a blank screen.
  • Why is there no streak reminder

It’s crazy how I know we have the technology to send a notification when you’re going to lose a streak. So why can’t they do that????? It’s wild. I’m mad.

I thoroughly enjoy this application. The added variety of puzzles over the years keeps my mind sharp. This app is a must-have!
  • Chaotic

I struggle with the reasoning for their choice of super random obscure words that frankly are useless to even learn (Wordle) - and groups of words (Connections) that seem like they’re created by children with attention deficit disorders.
