  • I am so grateful that our country still has the New York Times

I am heartbroken about what has happened to the Washington Post, and I am grateful that it hasn’t happened to the New York Times. I hope the public will support the New York Times with subscriptions so that it doesn’t end up in the hands of some craven billionaire.

I have found the NYTbecoming the mouthpiece for liberal politics. I have unfortunately begun to question the journalistic integrity of everything I read. It’s sad. I used to rely on the Times for news. Now it’s mostly opinions on the front page not the editorial section where they belong. Sure call out those who you don’t agree with. But save it for editorials.
  • Real News for People Who Know The Difference

At a time when most “news” is actually opinion, The New York Times continues its legacy of employing actual journalists to investigate and report based on multi-sourcing facts before publishing, and of holding government and individuals accountable for their actions and words. When a story is incorrect or a reporter was misinformed by a faulty source, they admit it and publish a correction or retraction. This is why it can be relied upon as a trusted source of real news.

I thoroughly enjoy reading the NYT. I am constantly amazed by the wide range of articles on a wide range of subjects. The depths of the reporting is very impressive and the journalism is top notch.

Sometimes loading can be EXTREMELY slow. Even in an area with good connection and other apps load fine.

  • A Couple Issues

The content is great, no issue with that. The app, well, I use an IPad and I will tap the screen to open an article and rather than opening the article, the page will just shirt down a bit. I then go back to the article and am able to open it. I wish there was a scan of the entire paper like the Washington Post does. For the record I no longer subscribe to the post.
