    Made an account and in no less than 4 minutes my account was suspended for the “safety of ebay and users” when i contacted support all they said was a bunch of the same stuff in different wording saying they can’t tell me why my account was suspended and it was final and would remain permanently suspended.👎

    eBay is a great place for scammers and bad actors. If a scammer knows how to work the eBay system you just have to take it with no recourse as customer service is non existent.

    eBay has gone down hill , as a top rated seller it is impossible to get any human help . Only Ai which is not very helpful at all . Tried calling emailing but only get bogus Ai help . I will slowly be migrating to other platforms. As sellers we make our best of forts to keep customers in ebay happy but ebay can’t do the same for its sellers

    We are big fans of eBay but just bought a product from a seller with 99% rating and when we went to install product - it was missing parts needed for install but that was not provided in product description First time ever we wrote a report on seller and we received an ai generated response telling us that that the AI did not find listing in violation That’s the end of our love endure of eBay - when eBay sends us an AI message with no real check of our report It means that those 99% seller ratings mean nothing now

    I’d give 0 stars if I could. I cannot stand eBay customer service. They are hands down the worst customer service in the world. They’ll lie to you constantly and they almost never know what they’re talking about. They side with sellers of counterfeit goods and fraud constantly. I just spent an hour & a half reporting counterfeit listings from China, that I’m 100% sure are counterfeit. I would consider myself a knife/blade expert. I reported over 100, only for 1/10th to be removed. All of which said the decision was made by a customer service rep, not ai like they’ll also pull. Every single one of them I gave them the exact details they needed to prove it’s fake and against their own policy. eBay refuses to do it’s due diligence in upholding it’s own policy, it’s policy only exists so they can try to fight someone suing them in court. The only thing eBay cares about is profit. I’ve had a handful of my own listings removed and I’ve never listed something against eBay policy. eBay’s customer service is based out of Asia. They’re racist against white people and constantly side with Asians breaking U.S law. eBay deserves to be sued by every major knife manufacturer there is because they do nothing about people from China copying their stuff and selling it is if it’s the real deal. eBay will also allow fraud constantly. I sold something and had the buyer claim a fraudulent damage charge because there was no refunds unless the item didn’t match the description or it was damaged. The product was not damaged at all, it even clearly showed that in the picture the person attached to prove the damage. eBay was still going to allow it and side with the fraud even though every review I have says the person received exactly what they paid for. The first international sale I had, eBay instructed me exactly how to ship the item. It went to an eBay facility where an employee stole it and they tried to not pay for it. They also attempted to claim it was against eBay policy to cover for the employee theft, when it was in no way against their policy or any law in either country involved in the transaction. They were screwing over 2 people pulling this and they didn’t care. I kept being lied to by the customer service. One customer service agent even tried to tell me my item was being shipped back to me, even though they couldn’t provide a tracking number. They claimed it was already on the way back to me. That was an outright lie they were just using to get me off the phone and not do their job. eBay is an overall miserable experience because of their customer support being exclusively located in Asia. You’ll have Asians with no idea about U.S law making decisions about what’s acceptable to sell here. Those Asian customer service reps hate white people and they’ll do whatever they can to make your life worse.

    I’m receiving constant promotional notifications from the eBay app—like coupon offers and marketing messages—with no way to disable them separately from important alerts like bids, messages, or sales updates. I’ve checked every setting, and it’s clear there’s no user control for turning off just these promotional messages. This is intrusive and disrespectful to users who want a clean experience without being spammed. Please add a clear setting to opt out of all marketing push notifications without disabling useful alerts. Until then, I’m turning off all notifications and reconsidering my use of the app.
