  • Unaware of the update

    Fudget Classic was amazing. I had been using it for the past few years, and it always served as a great budgeting tool to help manage my finances. However, one day the app just stopped working. It froze on startup and never got past the orange backdrop with the Fudget logo. At that point, I thought deleting and redownloading the app would be the best option. I did exactly that, only to find that once I downloaded Fudget 2, I no longer had access to any of my budgets from Fudget Classic. I know there’s a way to save your budgets in a Dropbox folder, but we received no heads-up whatsoever that the Classic app would become inaccessible once Fudget 2 was released. An email about the change would have been extremely helpful. On top of that, the new subscription model, especially after having already paid for full access to Fudget Classic is not very appealing either.

    I have been using Fudget since 2018. I love the ease of keeping track of multiple budgets. Especially that I can use it on the go so nothing ever gets missed being put in.

    I PAID for the full original! For my Apple devices and Windows. Now all of a sudden they don’t load. You want to make a new app for a money grab COOL but don’t make it mandatory. My app was working just fine then out of nowhere it doesn’t and I’m being told to subscribe. This is really getting out of hand.

  • A great app ruined by unfortunate economic conditions

    I really have loved using version 1 of this app - however recently there is no access to the previous app. I believe in the past I paid a one time fee and now for the product to be unavailable feels rather frustrating. However, I also understand it now costs a lot of money to support apps like that and likely the previous fee no longer sustains such maintenance. It is disappointing but it also means I must choose something else for my budgeting purposes because I really cannot stomach another subscription.

    I do like the app, but I bought budget Fudget a long time ago. They since changed their model and change the app to fudge plus and require a monthly subscription. My other app that I paid for is now dead and will not load. They said they would give me a discount on the new app, but I don’t want it I just want what I had

    I loved the old app, but now can’t access any of my years of data. Very frustrating as can’t export it either per the instructions. Is there a work around?

    I originally used Fudgets first app and it was amazing; after they revamped it. They created an even better budget app which helps track incoming and outgoing payments. Keeps me on track every time

    I had the original Fudget app. I used it for years. It’s one of my favorite apps for keeping track of stuff. Then all of a sudden it didn’t work. I was furious I thought the developers got greedy. I sent an email to support and the actual developer replied and explained what happened. I wasn’t able to restore my data from the old app which sucked. But I learned it wasn’t developers fault. They had no way of letting anyone know. Developer replied and explained situation to me so was refreshing seeing someone care enough to respond personally. The updated app has a very clean appearance and runs very smooth. And now you can save all your data. Would highly recommend this app if you don’t mind paying the subscription fee. I’ve used it for years and will continue to do so. Especially now that you’re able to save your data and use across devices.
