  • AI Garbage

It’s actually more distracting to watch the AI generated images that go along with the audio. Plus the AI text to speech is not great. And on top of all of that half of the videos cut off abruptly and don’t play for the full length of time that it says on how many minutes before you click on it to watch it. I’m glad they had a free trial because if I paid for this and then had to deal with customer service trying to get my money back, I would be so angry.

I got charged the same day for the full year even after canceling. Wouldn’t recommend because it’s not worth $112 for a year especially for just trying it. Contact both Apple and Bookwatch, apple tried to help but never heard anything from Bookwatch. Ended up just eating the $112. Beware!!!

I tried the trial period, and decided it wasn’t for me and I cancel and deleted the app and I was still charged anyways I did the refund process with Apple twice and apparently there is nothing Apple can do. The app glitches and the videos pauses halfway through while still talking. I emailed the company and still no answer. Now I have a app that doesn’t work until January 2027 and apparently there’s different payment options for the one year in which I paid double and it’s not even a premium option just by chance you can either pay 39.99 or 89.99. Which is insanely deceptive and doesn’t even show you the options right out front. Which I’m sure can’t be right legally 100 percent morally wrong but I’m not sure legally. Buyer please beware and it states it’s supposed to help people with ADHD and visual learners but this isn’t the case of the app freezes and stops midway through a video

I was so excited for the concept of this app but it’s literally just an AI video reading (in the most monotone voice) AI generated snippets of the book. Save your time and money.
  • Just an app with questions

Never got to experience the app, it just kept asking questions like a damn personality test. I just wanted to try it out!!! Never got to, because every next page was a stupid questionnaire… I got tired of answering so I just deleted it. Feels like a scam.

The app offered a free trial period but instead charged me on the very day I signed up for the trial. I tried to cancel within the free trial period but Apple denied my request 2 times. I've lost $59.99
