Temu’s “Invite Friends & Get Free Gifts” promotion is designed to mislead users into thinking rewards are attainable when they are not. I followed every stated rule: selected five items, sent the referral link, and had a friend create a legitimate new account using a new phone number and email. The referral was never credited and never appeared in my invite history. Customer support was completely ineffective. I provided screenshots, the exact phone number, and the email address used for the new account. Instead of resolving the issue, support agents repeated scripted responses, asked the same questions multiple times, and avoided explaining why the system failed to track a valid referral. The “energy” system changes without warning or transparency. Progress jumps unpredictably, creating the impression that the goalposts are intentionally moved to prevent completion. This is not a technical glitch. It is a manipulative engagement tactic. If Temu wants to run promotions, they should be honest about the odds instead of wasting users’ time with vague rules and nonfunctional tracking. I would not recommend participating in any referral-based offers on this platform.

It shouldn’t take over 2 weeks with local us shipping and shouldn’t say on tracking going through customs cleared that’s false advertisement…. if it’s local or shipping, it does not have to go through Customs or say it’s on your way to your country! False advertisement

They will tell you that you get all of these things for free as long as you make a purchase or spend a certain amount, and once you do that, then they turn around and tell you well now you gotta do this in This and This first and then you can have your reward. only the reward never actually comes because you have to spend money and make purchase in order to be qualified and after that, there’s always some catch keeping you from getting your reward without making another purchase of some sort and it’s a bunch of junk anyway all of it that’s why it’s so cheap.
