  • Outfit ideas are great; app is so so

    I love the many photo outfit ideas in the app. It’s helpful to see examples of interesting outfits. I also like the mini courses where they tell you the rules of good style. The app is slightly buggy. The Style Plan, only available on the web version, is very helpful but I was on Day 19 and the next day it reset to the first day and I can’t get it to restart. Another issue is trying to buy things on the app. You only get 5 days to return things if you buy items from an outfit, which is a small window. I purchased the Fall Capsule manual, which was helpful once I got it. The bad part of that is that once you pick an outfit, you have to purchase the pieces from many individual vendors, which is cumbersome. Also, since you’re purchasing from multiple vendors, you may only be able to purchase part of an outfit, which is frustrating. I’m still glad I purchased the subscription but the app has limitations.

    This App is a complete waste of money and will hit you 100 charge for nothing! And they make it impossible to cancel!! They are con artists and nothing more!!!! Stay away!

    I have been asking LUMI to cancel for three months. I keep getting charged. No where on their app can you cancel like most reputable companies. I have sent couple less emails. Zero response. They have no problem taking my money. Avoid this horrible business at all costs. Unscrupulous. Terrible people.

    This app uses deceptive billing practices. I was charged even though I never received any styling session, style guide, clothing recommendations, or any other service. The cancellation process is intentionally confusing, and the charges hit before you ever get access to anything. There is no clear disclosure of these charges in the app itself, and there is no confirmation step before they take payment. When I reached out to customer service, they refused to help and provided no resolution. Based on my experience and seeing many others with the same issue, this feels like a recurring pattern: hidden fees, difficult cancellation, no service delivered, and no support afterward. Consider this a warning — be extremely careful before giving this app your payment info.
