Replit

I had signed up for a Black Friday deal for three months of discounted service and there was a billing issue that caused the third month to lapse. When I corrected the billing issue they would no longer honor the pricing from before. Switching to Loveable going forward.

I feel defrauded. Trying to build a very simple workout tracker and it had to be constantly reset everytime I opened it.

I’m not using this to do all the work, but I LOVE being able to start building out an app in minutes whenever I’m on the go. I can always head back to my computer to finish it off.

Keeps looping on verification

Where do I even begin? I first started using Replit because they made deploying a web app as simple as one click. Before that, the only real option was Heroku, which was way too complicated to configure for the average developer. Replit completely changed the game for me. It became my go-to IDE for personal projects because it let me focus on what I actually love—writing code. All the messy DevOps stuff that used to make launching and managing web apps a huge headache (and pretty expensive) was suddenly not my problem anymore. I have a regular job as a Python developer, but I love building little apps for friends and family on the side. Replit made that easy. Then they released their Agent, and I haven’t been able to stop using it since. I didn’t realize how much I needed it until it helped me turn my long list of project ideas into actual working apps—in an afternoon! I’ve always had ideas for fun things like word games or tracking expenses for family vacations but couldn’t find the time to build them. And as a backend Python developer, learning front-end frameworks like React always felt like too big of a hurdle. But with the Replit Agent, even though it’s still early in development, I’ve been able to create fully functioning apps in about 30 minutes to an hour. What used to take me months—if I ever found the time—now takes me less than a day. It’s wild. Of course, the Agent isn’t perfect. It makes mistakes, and you have to be ready to troubleshoot and test to make sure everything works how you want it to. Sometimes adding new features breaks things or doesn’t quite turn out right, and undoing changes can be a bit tricky. But let’s be honest—building web apps is hard even under the best circumstances. The Agent has already saved me a ton of time, and it’s only going to get better. Replit is making web development fun. They’ve brought together everything you need—cloud resources, modern frameworks, and the power of their AI agent—all in one place. I have used Replit for years and they have improved so much! Amazing for company’s and people learning to code.

Replit already sped up development but using the agents to help streamline coding and align the whole team, all while cutting out hours of dev time into just a few min to customize and polish up or add the ui/ux has allowed one person to do a full teams workload in a matter of days solo! I’ve been able to create 2 full stack SaaS companies and completly run the entire company and build new products at the same time! Replit has completely changed my life tbh as well as allowed me to build and create things I never thought I’d be ever have to!

I was fortunate enough to sign up for Replit on the day that the agent was made available. I have built more than a dozen small scale apps since then (a few months). In general, the tool is great for spinning up quick prototypes. Because I’m not a developer, I’m unable to take most of my ideas all the way to the finish line. The agent has a tendency to get stuck and so I get stuck. Would like the pricing to somehow credit me back when the agent can go no farther (or it churns). Most issues seem to be related to databases and routing. Like I say: great start; still lots to work on!

It’s great for getting idea out fast. The interface makes it simple to navigate between code and previews. You can totally make and deploy an app from your phone!

This is a useful app with updates features. I like that they keep adding ew features to it and enable you to code and make apps faster and better. It has some glitches from time to time but they are really good at addressing them and pushing new versions.
