  • Don’t waste your money

    Honestly, Owlet has by far the worst customer service I have ever “dealt with” for a company that’s supposed to give mothers peace of mind, all it has done is cause more stress and anxiety. For two years I have been reaching out desperately in any way imaginable to try and get my issue resolved. I have emailed, support chat, tickets, I’ve even resorted to harassing their twitter and Instagram accounts. Two years I have been crying and pleading for someone to help me. Their camera is supposed to help me “check” on my baby, well that’s not possible when it takes over five minutes for the camera feed to load every time. Or the fact I have my sensitivity set to pick up any noise at all and my daughter will be SCREAMING, and I get no notification no recording. This company only cares about taking money from families. I have warned all my friends against getting an owlet sock or cam.

    I have nothing bad to say about the sock. It’s one of the best things we got for our son. It gives me so much peace of mind while he sleeps experience he has been sick. The app on the other hand? Kinda terrible. It’s so slow and so glitchy. I can never actually open it on the first try and get what I’m looking for. I have to close out of it at least 3-4 times before I get any accurate information. Even then it’s not always up to date. Just little things throughout the app make it so annoying to use. I just wish the app was better quality for how much you are paying for the sock.

  • This app does not work

    It is impossible to view the video feed from this app. It absolutely sucks. It will not work for several days and then finally work again. It’s not worth the money for the camera if you can’t view the feed from your phone. The data from the sock does actually show on the app, but no video feed. I feel like it’s gotten worse, I haven’t been able to use the video feed on the app for 24 hours now. Thankful we have a secondary monitoring system.

    I am surprised this app has 4.5 rating. It lacks so many features, not even simple configurations! Other product’s apps let you adjust notification mix/max for alerts, adjust volume and even see history of heart rate and oxygen level (graphs). I am surprised this is double the price and has a very basic application.

    We like the Owlet for peace of mind (we had a nicu baby) and for the ability to look back at our baby’s sleep, but the app is awful. It doesn’t update real time - we have to exit completely out of the app and reopen for it to refresh (sometimes that doesn’t even do it). When we review the sleep from the night before, the timing on the graph versus the actual time shown is completely off by hours. Again, we have to exit out of the app completely and hope that it refreshes when we open the app again. When we try to manually log naps, it always gives us an error, yet it shows up later on the sleep page. Owlet - please work on the app. The device isn’t cheap. You’d think for what we pay that the app would be excellent.

    Camera still doesn’t work. It disconnects every week (sometimes twice). It’s awful. The cam quality is also terrible, as is the sound. Customer service will not reach back out to me to help me solve a possible issue. Don’t buy this. Save your money and get a walkie talkie.

  • Constant issues no relief

    Honestly, if I could give owlet as a company 0 stars I would. Their product has given me nothing but grief since day one. There are CONSTANT- I mean multiple times a week, issues with connectivity and no, it’s not my wifi. The lack of response from customer service is also laughable-clearly it’s a known issue that they’re choosing not to fix. With the top dollar price point, I warn you, you are wasting every cent of your money given to owlet. It is AWFUL and does not work. Please do not purchase, learn from my mistake.

  • Insights incorrect

    Insights are completely worthless. Historical data changes each day, making me mistrust what the actual correct data is. I will take off the sock and get the night report, however when I check that same day the following day it is changed.
