  • Inconsistent app

I’ve had this for a year and a half and the connection has always been an issue. Proximity to router is not the problem as we’ve tried it with the router in the same room and still will lose signal. More recently I cannot go a day or two without having to disconnect the devices and start over. It’s infuriating for a product so expensive

App asks me for a rating every time I open it. It’s incredibly annoying….
  • App extremely SLOW

Whenever I try to watch the recording because my baby is crying, it is extremely slow in loading. I cannot load the video as the app will keep spinning. What is the point if I can’t watch it asap when the baby is crying? With the amount of I paid for this camera, I am expecting it working better and very disappointed as this happens so many times
  • It’s Okay if it Works, but it Usually Doesn’t

The device and app never works. Pairing the camera and base is complicated and pretty much impossible. Owlet, please, hire me as a software engineer and I will debug and fix your broken software in less than a week!
  • Constant prompt for feedback

I’m unsure what setting you have missed, but I’ve given more than 25 1 stars for the in app feedback because it prompts every, single, time that I open the app. Just what I need to think about when I’m trying to check on my baby with RSV. How have you not fixed this yet? Some product manager turning on feedback feature and ignoring it? The normal, expected path here is occasional requests for that sort of feedback. Put a delay in
  • Doesn’t alert anymore

  • Sock is great. App is not.

We love this sock. It gives us such peace of mind during the night. The app is slow and I have to close it out and reopen for it to register the current session. ALSO every time I open the app is asked me to give feedback. I submitted a 5 star review the first time hoping I wouldn’t see that again. EVERY TIME I open the app it asks me to submit feedback. I shouldn’t have to hit “not now” every time I go to check on my child in the middle of the night. Again I have submitted feedback multiple times and this is still a constant issue for me. It’s awful.
  • Stop asking me to rate the app!

First off, I love the sock and the app. As new parents, it’s definitely helped us sleep better. However, about 2 weeks ago a pop up appears every time I open the app and it’s asking me to rate it. I gave it 5 stars the first time and clicked submit. But that wasn’t enough because it keeps appearing every time I open the app. This is incredibly annoying, especially if I’m just trying to check my baby’s stats at 3am. Please remove this!

Everytime I open the app, it pops up the “rate” thing. It’s getting very annoying.
  • Frustrating, frustrating device and app

This app is really frustrating to use first. It is such an ordeal to try to get it set up. You have to find ways to customize you are on the browser in order for it to connect. Then there is really no subtlety to the alarms. You try to put the sock on, you’re struggling, and then it blares an alarm saying that I can’t get a read on the sock and that the oxygen levels are nonexistent. There really is no great way to alert you without waking up everyone while you’re struggling to put the sock on in the dark while your baby is trying to sleep; it is already complicated enough to put on. The app itself does not feel native, and doesn’t really fit into iOS. Overall frustrating experience.
