Wildfire Tracking Features: - Push notifications about nearby wildfires and firefighting efforts - Real-time updates as conditions change - Active fire perimeters and progress - Infrared satellite hotspots from VIIRS and MODIS - Wind speed and direction - Evacuation orders & shelter information - Historical wildfire perimeters - Street and satellite maps - Air attack and air tanker flight tracker - Save locations for quick access on the map Watch Duty is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We have a residence in Los Angeles County, and at Mammoth Lakes in Mono County. There have been many fire incidents that have affected our family and property, sometimes while we were many miles or even states away. Being informed of the facts concerning the incidents in such a timely manner is paramount. The information we receive through this app has been priceless. We can react in a calm and knowledgeable manner so safety (our first concern) is addressed as quickly as possible. Highly recommended this app!

This app has been very reliable and performs well, even on a slightly dated iPad. I live in a fire-prone western area, as do my grown children (all different fire-prone areas). Very, very useful.

Simply Excellent, a MUST HAVE for anyone. Free, no ads. They simply soft ask for donations, no had sell or pop-ups. It’s a no brainer unless you’re totally unbothered by fires in your neighborhood🤷‍♂️. It could help save your life!
  • Fire Fighter approved.
