  • App playing without being open

    Ended up deleting the app after it kept playing through the Bluetooth in my car despite not having opened the app for a week straight. This happened on 3 separate occasions, where I had not used the app for at least 24 hours before getting in my car, it was not open on my phone in any capacity, and yet it still started playing the last story I had listened to. Again, had not used the app in more than 24 hours, once I had not used it for over a week, had used multiple apps and listened to different things in between, but it still played. I’m not interested in fixing this problem for myself, I simply deleted the app as I don’t feel safe having it downloaded anymore. Something to look into for the developers though.

    Um so I purchased this today thinking I could purchase for only a month and then cancel it but it took the $65 out of my account how do I cancel it altogether and get the money back in my account?? I’m panicking

    I am not sure if I will like the app and all it offers. There is no section where I can sample the app without purchasing. I am not ready to purchase. I have many book/ audio apps! Do I need one more? I need this app to show me what I am missing!

    As a black women who has been on the app for I wanna say three years it’s as if it got worse in a since because I feel as tho you don’t highlight your black creators as much honestly and you made a new tag which is labeled POC I was offended because it use to be something different and the new update isn’t bad it’s just that most of the creators don’t actually have any black women scripts and when they do it’s only for black history month or because black script writers are asking the creators to take a look at there scripts

    …And for Naudio. Just do yourself a favor and get the yearly subscription to the app. I never write reviews but holy smokes Quinn deserves its own PSA. Also I second all the reviews requesting we be able to respond to others’ comments! Feel like there’s a lot of room for potential community here that isn’t being taken advantage of. But so much love for Quinn and all its creators. What a brilliant creation. ❤️

    So worth the subscription. When I go back to other mediums I miss the feeling like they were made for me and not just using female bodies. I do miss the filter feature for selecting only male voices and the list of tags though!! Please bring those back in some form!!

    Cool app, but I don’t like that even when the app is fully closed on my phone, it will still auto connect and start playing in my car and with my AirPods. This is not a problem that occurs with Spotify or Libby audiobooks when those apps are closed, so it is specific to this app. Unfortunately if I can’t find a way to prevent that from occurring, I’ll have to cancel my subscription :(
