    These jerks connived me into subscribing via a security alert (accompanied by a valid-looking Apple logo) that appeared suddenly on my iPhone. The subscription would’ve cost me $12.99/week! Granted, I was the fool who fell for the trap. Luckily, Apple canceled the subscription for me. Be forewarned.

    Advertised with the language: “Your iPhone was hacked after visiting an adult website and your screen was recorded. If this problem is not resolved within two minutes, the video recording and all your pictures might be leaked. In order to fix this problem, you must download trusted VPN app and activate data protection.” It then redirects to this app. This is scary-sounding gibberish. The real danger is likely in giving this app access to your device. Stay away.
