You have to pay to use it… It’s a total scam to me. 25 bucks a year for some stupid app that says it’s for 4 year olds!?

I always dreamt of seeing my name with my music on platforms like Spotify and Apple Music now it’s a reality

But I want to be able to access all my accounts, on every platform

I can’t explain how happy I am to see my first single on all platforms, omg so happy! As a independent artist that’s all you need 💯✅

This is a fully honest review. Been using DistroKid for about maybe 4 years now. And it’s gotten worse each year. You need to be allowing people to delete artists from their account without upgrading, because this is robbery. If I feel like I would like to delete a an artists page, I should be able to do so and be able to replace it with another, without any hassle. The fact is, I had re-subscribed, and upgraded my plan. Went and scheduled a new track for release on the new artist I was releasing for. It then allowed me to create another artist page and everything, lo and behold when I go to upload my next track the only options for artists are the last two slots I used, which I no longer need. In order to then even think about continuing the new page they just set up, i now need to pay the insane amount of 90$ to upgrade. Ridiculous. So, after having that happen i then switched to another distribution service, and I went and deleted the music on the DistroKid account to get it all taken down so I could start fresh. And what do you know i log in one day to pull the rest of the royalties out the account and I get a message telling me that I don’t have any artists on my account (since I deleted them) , and that in order to even basically continue to the app I would have to make the 90$ purchase to upgrade. To even get into the app now. Absolute horrible company, shady beyond belief, and their wheel of playlist gimmick only generates botted streams for artists which then results in you getting your music taken down. Stay clear. UM or TC are better than these goofballs.
