  • Love Paku! Why 1 star?

Update: I haven’t deleted and reinstalled the app yet, but after a few restarts, it seems to be working again. If it happens again, will try to reinstall the app. Back to 5 stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I love this app, but… now none of the widgets work on my iPhone 16 Pro Max! I use them mainly on my lock screen. They use to work, but not anymore. Perhaps a problem with iOS 18.1? I wanted to contact the dev directly, but wasn’t going to join Mastodon solely for that purpose! So I am unable to contact them about this problem. I just signed up for Paku pro to see if any of the other pro widgets would work. Nope!! I’ll be canceling my subscription unless I get word that the dev got my message and will try to fix this issue. Thanks 🙏
  • Paku app is great. I wish PurpleAir and the U.S. Govt. would step up

Paku is doing the best that it can with very limited distribution of PurpleAir sensors… If the U.S. Govt./Weather Apps/Etc… are going to just use PurpleAir data, maybe they could chip in?? Think of what we could do if these sensors were everywhere? Paku is in place and has the best interface to take it to the next level.

This is a great idea and a wonderful app It’s just sad that it can’t tell you exactly what’s in the air that’s making it high Especially when there is a coal fired power plant 5miles due north of you and a chemical plant 5 miles northeast of you
  • Critical AQI widgets and pushes for living with smoke

Paku is a must-have for anyone dealing with irregular AQI issues (wildfire smoke): setting up AQI push alerts lets me know when to open and close my windows, and Lock Screen widgets on my phone and watch provide a great at-a-glance check-in throughout the day as I make plans for outdoor exercise or evening plans. I send this app to all my friends and neighbors year round and they’re always delighted by its quality, performance, and usability.

I didn’t even know the purple air sensor showed temperature and humidity until I got Paku. It’s so easy to check. This app does its job quietly and reliably.

I love purple air, especially doing wildfire season. And I look looking at the air and the rest of the world also. But it doesn’t seem to be working right today. I am 23 miles away from the forest fire and it has been quite smoky here. But the dot near my tiny town shows green and that it is at 20. But reading the text it says air quality is 158. That is a big difference. I live in Northern California and I looked up to Oregon where I know there are a lot of fires, and showing green today also. So please fix this. Oherwise I would give it five stars.

Thanks so much for the excellent app, our family uses it all the time. The best air quality visualization I have found.

High-quality, pretty design, and artsy, homegrown feel. I love it! The alerts feature doesn’t seem to always work completely without glitches, but love that you added it and sure it will keep getting better! Thank you for this wonderful app!

I downloaded this app a few days ago because of the wildfires in Eastern Oregon/Western Idaho and I'm amazed at how accurate and precise it is with these sensors. The DEQ only has one or two sensors in my area but using Paku, I'm able to get a much more accurate idea of how the air quality REALLY is. The ONLY thing that I would like to see with this are different map layers and the wind directions on the map view. If youre concerned about air quality, especially during wild fire season, this is the app to get!
