Description

The Beep App is an affordable ride-sharing app for college students. It provides a very simple and easy way for people to get rides around their college town. Riders are provided a simple screen that allows them to find a ride in seconds. Drivers (beepers) are given a simple interface where they manage all the riders in their queue. Riders get the benefit of finding a driver with a short wait, low cost rides, estimated time of arrivals, push notifications of their driver's status. Drivers get the benefit of setting their own rates for riders, managing many riders in line for rides, choosing their payment options, and a simple way to tell riders of their status.

    I have found that when a bunch of people are using the app, it doesn’t work as it normally does. Nothing will load, and a bunch of the input sections start to misplace where you type something in. Very annoying when you need a ride, and apparently everyone else does too at the same time.

    This is a good app when it works, it makes it much more seamless beeping in Boone than using the Facebook page.

    The app will not allow me to quit beeping due to riders in my queue when I don’t actually have any at all. Keeps me available for beeping at unwanted times.

    The user interface was great and simple to navigate and be able to use. As a beeper this helped immensely. **As of the last update it says people are in my queue but they don’t show up

    As of 2/12/22, there is a “JSON Parse error” while trying to create an account. Just wanted to draw some attention to this for the developer

    I’ve been trying to create an account and it keeps giving me this same error. I have tried changing the pfp and it still says the same thing.

    Not much of a review but a question because I don’t know how to get in contact with the creators. I cannot log in but I have an account. If I don’t remember my username what do I do? There is a forgot password button but not a forgot username.

  • I can’t use the app

    The app seems to be fine, but I had/have an issue where I tried to verify my email, but I kept getting an error that said “verify email token invalid” or something like that. I tried logging out of my account on the app and now it won’t let me log in, even though I know for a fact that I am putting the information in correctly. If there’s any way I could get into contact with the creators or reset my account or whatever, that would be great.

    I sent an email a week ago to one of the founders no response and another one later on to the other founder no response from either my account is showing I have 3 riders in my queue and they aren’t even trying to help. He have fixed things before without telling me but now they aren’t even trying to help.
