The app is extremely slow borderline unusable but at least it’s better than Google
  • I love Proton. But…

This app is garbage on my iPhone. It’s so slow. Frequent UI glitches, and unbearably laggy.
  • Freezes on ios

The staff has been helpful in trying to fix the new problem. I LOVED this app, but now it freezes when I try to edit a document. I NEVER had any problems with it in the past. Now, I wonder if it is the new ios update to ios 26.1. The technician who helped me suggested that I go in through the web and log in, which I did and then I was able to edit. I hope the problem can be fixed so that I can once again use the app. Thank you Proton for all you do. At least there is someone standing in the corner in privacy.

As the title says - Cryptomator is unable to use proton drive on iOS because it is grayed out.

I’ve been a Proton Drive user for many years and it just keeps getting better. All of the Proton products are great, encrypted, secure and safe. I’d highly recommend them.
  • Struggling to select multiple files

this works as a cloud storage for me, but i am not able to select multiple files to upload as a batch. i have to go one by one which is quite time consuming. not really feasible when there is hundreds of files edit: okay i figured out how to do it. i had to dig deep and its more of an issue with apple than you all. i had to copy the folder from apples files app to proton drive rather than trying to use proton drive to copy the folder i needed over. kinda weird but i got what i wanted

Stop asking for access to all of my photos every time I open the app

I love it but there’s no quick way to migrate from iCloud, no quick way to upload photos and delete them off your phone as you go. So if your iCloud is full and your moving to proton the process takes days even on average Wi-Fi speeds. And then you have to manually delete your own photos. Really needs a delete originals options off of the device to free up space as it’s backed up to the drive.
